Users Manual

This device complies with part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. NOTE: The manufacturer is not responsible for any radio or TV interference caused by unauthorized modifications to this equipment. Such modifications could void the userโ€™s authority to operate the equipment. NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: - Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. - Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. -Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. -Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

1. How does this device operate? Answer: Power is provided by DC 3V by 2*AAA battery or DC 12V by adapter power source. Frequencies are selected by a remote controller of the EUT external device. 2. Provide information on the device and its antenna. Answer: The antenna is a built-in trace on the circuit board. (Please see the userโ€™s manual and circuit). 3. How is it installed? Answer: Plug-in connecter is inserted into the DC 3V by 2*AAA battery or DC 12V by adapter power source. No other installation is required. 4. What test procedure was used? Answer: ANSI C63.4-2003. 5. If tested in a car, how was it configured/tested? Answer: It is not tested in an automobile. It was tested in a 3-meter test site as shown in the Test Setup Photo. 6. Was the tuning range properly verified? The test lab should indicate in the report that the tuning controls were manually adjusted to verify maximum tuning range. Answer: Only the frequency bands (88.1-107.9 MHz, channel spacing: 200 KHz) are available. Please check Page 4 of 20 the test report. 7. Was the bandwidth properly tested with maximum audio input? The test lab should describe the audio input signal (use a typical audio file from a typical device) - DO NOT use 1kHz tone from signal generator as specified under ETSI EN 301 357-1) Answer: We play the inside MP3 files of the product with the maximum audio input. 8. Provide the test report. Answer: Please check the supplied test report document.
