The following diagrams are just a few of the ways you can use it to get the most from your audio devices... Transmitter mode Connect the transmitter/receiver to your TV or MP3 player and listen to them wirelessly on Bluetooth speakers or headphones. Receiver mode Connect the transmitter/receiver to wired speakers or headphones and listen wirelessly to your phone or tablet. Go to the next page to get started! 2 Make sure the following items came in this package: 1. Unpack 2. Charge the transmitter/receiver Before you start using the transmitter/ receiver for the first time, it’s a good idea to charge it completely. To charge the transmitter/receiver: Plug the included micro-USB charging cable into the charging jack on the back of the transmitter receiver. Plug the other end of the power adapter into a USB power source. The charging indicator is red while the transmitter/receiver is charging. It turns off when the transmitter/receiver is fully charged. Note: You can use the transmitter/receiver while it’s charging. Charge the transmitter/receiver Option 1: Transmitter Mode 1. Slide the transmitter/receiver switch on the front of the transmitter/receiver to TX. 2. Use the included 3.5mm audio cable to connect the transmitter/receiver to your audio source (a computer, TV, MP3 player, etc.). NOTE: Before the next step, turn off Bluetooth on your phone or other device you use wirelessly with your Bluetooth speaker or headphones. This will keep your speaker or headphones from automatically pairing to your phone when you turn them on (and allow it to pair to the transmitter/ receiver). 1 2 3 4 3. Turn on your Bluetooth speaker or Bluetooth headphones and place it next to the transmitter/receiver. 4. Press and hold the button on the top of the transmitter/receiver for 2-3 seconds to turn it on. The transmitter/receiver’s transmitter indicator blinks rapidly while it’s trying to connect to your Bluetooth speaker or headphone. In a few seconds it auto-pairs with your Bluetooth speaker or headphone, and the transmitter indicator turns solid blue. 5. Start playing audio on your audio source. Your Bluetooth speaker or headphones plays the audio wirelessly. 4 Option 2: Receiver Mode 1. Slide the transmitter/receiver switch on the front of the transmitter/receiver to RX. 2. Connect the transmitter/receiver to your wired speakers or headphones. NOTE: If you have Bluetooth speakers or headphones you’ve paired with your phone, tablet, or gaming system before, make sure they’re turned off before the next step. This will allow your phone, tablet, or gaming system to pair to the transmitter/receiver. 1 2 3. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone, tablet, or gaming system. 4. Press and hold the button on the top of the transmitter/receiver for 2-3 seconds to turn it on. The transmitter/receiver’s receiver indicator blinks rapidly while it’s trying to connect to your Bluetooth speaker or headphone. 5. On your phone, tablet, or gaming system, choose Jensen RBTTX10 from the list of available Bluetooth connections. In a few seconds the transmitter/ receiver pairs with your phone, tablet, or gaming system, and the receiver indicator turns solid green. 6. Start playing audio on your phone, tablet, or gaming system. Your wired speaker or headphones plays the via the transmitter/receiver. 3 4 5 Bluetooth wireless connection tips • Make sure the Bluetooth capability of your device is turned on. • The Bluetooth wireless connection works up to a range of roughly 33 feet (10 meters). This range may vary, however, based on other factors, such as room layout, wall material, obstacles, your device’s Bluetooth performance, etc. If you’re having problems connecting to the speaker, move closer to it. • If your device asks you for a password to connect, use “0000”. If you’re having trouble reconnecting, try the following solutions: • Find the device named Jensen RBTTX10 in the Bluetooth menu on your phone, and remove (or forget) this device. Then start the pairing process described in this section again to re-pair and connect. Auto-Reconnect In receiver mode, Bluetooth auto-reconnect depends on your phone, tablet, or gaming system. In transmitter mode, the transmitter/receiver will attempt to reconnect automatically when you turn it on. If it doesn’t find a previously paired device, the transmitter/receiver will go into pairing mode to set up with a new device. Using the Transmitter/Receiver Low Battery Warnings The transmitter/receiver tells you when it needs to be recharged. In transmitter mode, the blue indicator blinks rapidly when the battery is low.
