It is seeking limited modular approval. The radio meets most of the requirements for modular approval as detailed in FCC 15.212. Compliance to each of the requirements is described below: 1. “The modular transmitter must have its own RF shielding.” The radio part of modular has no RF shielding 2. “The modular transmitter must have buffered modulation/data inputs.” Buffered data inputs stage has been integrated in chip (Model: AT86RF215) 3. “The modular transmitter must have its own power supply regulation.” DC 3.3V supplied by system 4. “The modular transmitter must comply with the antenna requirements of Section 15.203 and 15.204(c).” The module has one 2.4GHz rubber stubby antenna with SMA male straight. 5. “The modular transmitter must be tested in a stand-alone configuration.” The EUT was tested in a stand-alone configuration. 6. “The modular transmitter must be labeled with its own FCC ID number.” The module will be labeled with its own FCC ID number.
