RF Exposure Info

FCC ID : WI3-M7XX Portable device According to §15.247(e)(i) and §1.1307(b)(1), systems operating under the provisions of this section shall be operated in a manner that ensures that the public is not exposed to radio frequency energy level in excess of the Commission’s guidelines. According to KDB 447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance v05, section 4.3.1 The 1-g and 10-g SAR test exclusion thresholds for 100 MHz to 6 GHz at test separation distances ≤ 50 mm are determined by: [(max. power of channel, including tune-up tolerance, mW)/(min. test separation distance, mm)] · [√f(GHz)] ≤ 3.0 for 1-g SAR and ≤ 7.5 for 10-g extremity SAR, 16 where f(GHz) is the RF channel transmit frequency in GHz Power and distance are rounded to the nearest mW and mm before calculation 17 The result is rounded to one decimal place for comparison The test exclusions are applicable only when the minimum test separation distance is ≤ 50 mm and for transmission frequencies between 100 MHz and 6 GHz. When the minimum test separation distance is < 5 mm, a distance of 5 mm is applied to determine SAR test exclusion. 802.11b Frequency (MHz) Peak Output Power (dBm) Peak Output Power (mW) Calculation Value Threshold Value 2412 9.20 8.32 2.58 3.0 2437 9.14 8.20 2.56 3.0 2462 9.26 8.43 2.65 3.0 802.11g Frequency (MHz) Peak Output Power (dBm) Peak Output Power (mW) Calculation Value Threshold Value 2412 8.23 6.65 2.07 3.0 2437 8.12 6.49 2.03 3.0 2462 8.46 7.01 2.20 3.0 802.11n20 Frequency (MHz) Peak Output Power (dBm) Peak Output Power (mW) Calculation Value Threshold Value 2412 8.26 6.70 2.08 3.0 2437 7.92 6.19 1.93 3.0 2462 7.63 5.79 1.82 3.0 802.11n40 Frequency (MHz) Peak Output Power (dBm) Peak Output Power (mW) Calculation Value Threshold Value 2422 6.88 4.88 1.52 3.0 2437 6.82 4.81 1.50 3.0 2452 6.83 4.82 1.51 3.0 Threshold at which no SAR required is ≤ 3.0 for 1-g SAR, Separation distance is 5mm. Report No.: ATE20141876 Page 71 of 111 FCC ID: WI3-M7XX ACCURATE TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD 10.5.Operating Condition of EUT 10.5.1.Setup the EUT and simulator as shown as Section 10.1. 10.5.2.Turn on the power of all equipment. 10.5.3.Let the EUT work in TX modes measure it. The transmit frequency are 2412-2462 and 2422-2452MHz. We select 2412MHz, 2437MHz, 2462MHz and 2422MHz, 2437MHz, 2452MHz TX frequency to transmit. 10.6.Test Procedure The EUT and its simulators are placed on a turntable, which is 0.8 meter high above ground. The turntable can rotate 360 degrees to determine the position of the maximum emission level. EUT is set 3.0 meters away from the receiving antenna, which is mounted on an antenna tower. The antenna can be moved up and down between 1.0 meter and 4 meters to find out the maximum emission level. Broadband antenna (calibrated bilog antenna) is used as receiving antenna. Both horizontal and vertical polarizations of the antenna are set on measurement. In order to find the maximum emission levels, all of the interface cables must be manipulated according to ANSI C63.4: 2009 on radiated emission measurement. The EUT was tested in 3 orthogonal planes. The worst-case data rate for this channel to be 1Mbps for 802.11b mode and 6Mbps for 802.11g mode and 150Mbps for 802.11n mode, based on previous with 802.11 WLAN product design architectures. The frequency range from 30MHz to 25000MHz is checked. Result = Reading + Corrected Factor Where Corrected Factor = Antenna Factor + Cable Loss – Amplifier Gain During the radiated emission test, the spectrum analyzer was set with the following configurations: 1. The resolution bandwidth and video bandwidth of test receiver/spectrum analyzer is 120kHz for Quasi-peak at frequency below 1GHz. 2. The resolution bandwidth of test receiver/spectrum analyzer is 1MHz and video bandwidth is 3MHz for peak measurement with peak detector at frequency above 1GHz. 3. The resolution bandwidth of test receiver/spectrum analyzer is 1MHz and video bandwidth is 10Hz for Average measurement with peak detection at frequency above 1GHz. 4. All modes of operation were…
