With these properties the antennas achieve outstanding reading and writing results with ranges up to 10 cm with a typical selectivity of 5 cm. The special design of these antennas guarantees interference-free operation im multi-reader environments. The ULORA was especially developed to read dipolar tags (far fi eld tags) at very limited distanc- es. In addition this antenna can address looped tags (near fi eld tags) up to 3 cm. The LORA version was developed in order to increase the range for near fi eld tags, with which ranges up to 7 cm can be achieved. The range of applications of the antennas according to tag type is dis- played in the tag association table. Example Applications • Pharmaceutical industry (e.g. individual tag capture on liquid-fi lled vessels and blister packs) • Access controls • Automation industry ULORA (Ultra Low Range) is suitable for: - near fi eld tags - hybrid tags - far fi eld tags Looped tags (near fi eld tags) Hybrid tags Dipolar tags (far fi eld tags) LORA (Low Range) is suitable for: - near fi eld tags Tag type: 52010084 (ETSI) or 52010085 (FCC) UHF RFID Ultra Low Range- Antenne (ULORA) 865-928 Internet: http://www.kathrein.de KATHREIN-Werke KG . Beispiel- Applikationen • Pharmaindustrie (z. B. Einzelerfassung von Tags auf fl üssigkeitsgefüllten Gefäßen und Blister- packungen) • Zutrittskontrollen • Automatisierungsindustrie ULORA (Ultra Low Range) eignet sich für: - Nahfeld-Tags - Hybrid-Tags - Fernfeld-Tags Schleife…
