Overview The Predator S-Type Wir eless Contr oller uses advanced 2.4 GHz technology and Channel-Hopping which giv es you the ability to play without the limitations and hassles of typical corded contr ollers and switch-dependent contr ollers. All of this giv es you lightning fast contr ol over your favorit e games without cords to trip over , channels to set, or fears of outside interfer ence disturbing play contr ol . There are a few buttons, LED’s (lights), and features not found on your basic Pla ySta tion®2 Contr oller. The following is an explanation of these elements . Auto-Hopping: This removes the hassle of setting channels via a series of switches or having your connection corrupted by interfer ence. Auto-hopping moves to the nearest, clearest channel for you, with no breaks in play, t o make sure your signal never lags behind your commands. Simply press the connect button on the receiver , wait three seconds and press the Start button on the contr oller to make a connection. Touch any of the four action buttons Start, or Select to power up your new wireless contr oller. Hyper-Responsive Contr ols: Our contr ols are made out of top quality components so that you lose nothing in contr ol and response when you need it most and over the life of your contr oller. Signal LED: Multi-function LEDs: LED lights on contr oller and receiver are used to indicate var ious functions as illustrated in chart below. LED OFF = Power OFF LED solid RED = ANALOG mode Depressing and holding the DOWN direction on the Directional the rumble motor . A short rumble indicates success. Depressing and holding the UP direction on the D-P ad while pressing the SELECT button once turns the rumble motors on. A long rumble indicates success. Batt ery Compartment: Predator S Type contr oller requires the use of two AA batt er ies (not included). The batt er ies wer e placed to balance the weight perfectly in the contr oller to increase comfort and contr olling. Double check and make sure batt er ies are inserted correctly. Power Save Mode: When not in use for 3 minutes the Predator S Type Contr oller automatically goes into a sleep mode to conserve batt er ies. A touch of any action button puts the contr oller back into play mode. Holding the Start button for 5 the four action buttons to return the contr oller from sleep. Note: Press the Connect button on the Receiver once (Signal LED will FLASH slowly). Then press the Select Button on contr oller. This programs the Receiver to connect to that Contr oller every time it is used. This operation can be done again and again to connect to multiple Contr ollers. 3. Alt er natively, if any problems should occur during play (due to lo w batt er ies, receiver disconnection fr om the press the connect button on the receiver , wait three seconds and then press the Start button or one of the action Buttons. Note: If you are using more than one Predator S type controller, simply repeat the above steps and it should connect exactly the same way on an available channel. 4. Insert a game into your PlayStation®2. 5. You are now ready to play. Troubleshooting My system turns on but I don’t see anything on the TV. 1. Check to verify that your A/V cable is properly connected to your system. 2.Check to ver ify that your A/V cable is properly plugged into your television set. My Predator S Type Wireless Controller does not respond. 1.Check to ver ify that your batt er ies are inserted correctly. 2.Check to ver ify that the power is on.
