Users Manual

Initial Setup After this quick setup, you will be ready to enjoy your music wirelessly 1) Charge Charge your BluJax by connecting it to a USB power supply (USB cable included). When connected to a USB power source the BluJax will glow Red while charging. When charging is complete, the BluJax will glow Blue. 2) Pair After charging your BluJax, unplug it from the USB power source. If the BluJax is glowing, press the control button for 3 seconds to turn it off. Red light will blink 3 times to confirm power off. Press and hold the control button for 10 seconds (until blue light rapidly flashes) to enter Pairing mode. Open the Bluetooth menu on your smartphone or audio source, and search for available Bluetooth accessories. Select BluJax from the list, and select “connect”. When a successful connection has been established, the BluJax will confirm by glowing Blue. 3) Connect Plug the BluJax into the vehicle’s auxiliary audio input. The 3.5mm jack on the BluJax has been intentionally designed off-center so that it can be rotated to allow it to clear buttons or other obstructions located near your aux input. If simply rotating the BluJax is not allowing full insertion into the auxiliary input, we have provided a short extension cable which can be used to make the connection. Connect the extension cable between the BluJax and the Aux input. Operation When first returning to the vehicle, you will need to press the control button once on the BluJax to wake it up. Upon wake-up, the Blue light will blink three times, and the BluJax will automatically reconnect with the previously paired Bluetooth device, as long as it is in range. The BluJax will glow blue to confirm that it is reconnected to your device. Select the auxiliary audio input source on your radio to enjoy your music. 1) Control Streaming Music Playback Begin music playback from your paired Bluetooth device Press button once on the center of the BluJax to toggle Play / Pause of music playback Press button twice skips to the next track 2) Power On / Power Off To save battery life while not in use, simply press the control button for 3 seconds to turn off the BluJax. The red light will blink 3 times when turning off. When you are ready to use your BluJax, press the control button for 3 seconds to turn it on. The blue light will blink 3 times when turning on. 3) Power Save Mode If the paired Bluetooth device is out of range for 5 minutes, the BluJax will automatically go into sleep mode to preserve the battery power. When first returning to the vehicle, simply press the control button once on the BluJax to wake it up. 4) Battery Low Approximately 8 Hrs. of playback from the BluJax is expected on a single charge. When the BluJax battery is getting low, it will flash red. Please recharge BluJax soon. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: 1. Re-orientate or relocate the receiving antenna. 2. Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. 3. Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that of which the receiver is connected. 4. Consult the dealer or an experienced radio / television technical for help. Notice : The changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible compliance could void the user authority to operate the equipment.
