This terminal comes in different models: EFT930G, EFT930B, EFT930P, EFT930W. Please read this guide to understand and make the best use of your terminal. It presents you the necessary information about use, installation, maintenance, safety and security recommendations. WARRANTY / SECURITY Use only the power supply included with the product to ensure best performance and safety. Maintenance should only be provided by Ingenico authorized technician. Failure to comply with these instructions will void the manufacturer’s responsibility. 2. Presentation 2.1. Content of the box WARNING The power supply unit provided with your equipment is specially designed for Ingenico terminals. Do not use any other power supply. The use of a power supply with apparently similar voltage/current characteristics may damage your terminal. ADVICE : Keep the packaging. It must be re-used whenever the terminal is shipped. EUT CONFIGURATION The inboard software (EMC TEST) performed the followings tests and activates the followings functions: - Printer ON - Smartcards reading: CAM0, SAM1&2 (Power ON and reading) - USB ON (Host to slave ports looped back) - Backlight and display are ON - Modem ON - Contact less ON (ATR reading in loop) 1.5. EQUIPMENT MODIFICATIONS Added ferrite clamps on following cable: - Ferrite Würth Elektronik 742 711 12 2 ways near the input power supply port of base. (for both power supplies) 1.6. SPECIAL ACCESSORIES None FCC ID: XKB-EFT930G Page 5/5 1.7. Test Methodology Both conducted and radiated testing were performed according to the procedures in ANSI C63.4-2003, FCC Part 15 Subpart B. Radiated testing was performed at an antenna to EUT distance of 10 meters. During testing, all equipment’s and cables were moved relative to each other in order to identify the worst case set-up. 1.8. Test facility Tests have been performed on May 6 th , 2010. This test facility has been fully described in a report and accepted by FCC as compliant with the radiated and AC line conducted test site criteria in ANSI C63.4-2003 in a letter dated March 25 th , 2008 (registration number 94821). This test facility has also been accredited by COFRAC (French accreditation authority for European Union test lab accreditation organization) according to NF EN ISO/IEC 17025, accreditation number 1-1633 as compliant with test site criteria and competence in 47 CFR Part 15/ANSI C63.4 and EN55022/CISPR22 norms for 89/336/EEC European EMC Directive application. All pertinent data for this test facility remains unchanged.
