PIR Sensor: Face this towards the area you wish to detect motion. This motion sensor is designed to only detect motion when it is darker outside. 2. Sensor Light Indicator: Lights up red when sensor detects motion. 3. Light Sensitivity Knob: Turn the knob to the light level to which you want the motion sensor to activate and turn your light or device on. 4. Motion Sensitivity Slide Switch: After finished testing, set to either High or Low sensitivity TIMER 5. AUTO button: Press once to activate the timer after programming is complete. 6. ON/OFF button: Turns the timer ON/OFF. 7. SETUP button: Press once to set the calendar/clock. Press twice to set or change programming. 8. “+” and “-” buttons: Press to scroll through menu options. 9. Enter Button: Press to confirm indicated settings. 10. Reset button: Press and hold for three seconds to reset the system. 11. RND button: Press once to activate random feature. 12. TIMER DOOR: Close after programing. Press to turn ON/OFF (timer override) 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 TIMER INSTALLATION Installation Instructions Continued 2 Motion Sensor Installation: € On back of Motion Sensor, remove two small screws and gently remove plastic back to install 3 x AA batteries following the polarities marked within the battery housing. Replace plastic back and tighten the two small screws. Ensure there are no gaps when plastic back is fully screwed back in. € Put the motion sensor slide switch to “T” (Test mode) and red indicator light will come when it detects motion. Your wired light or device should now turn on when motion is detected (as long as your timer is installed and wired correctly). € After finished testing the motion sensor with your timer, switch the slide switch to “A” (Automatic mode). The motion sensor will now match what is programmed within your timer (see Operating Instructions). € Take both screws (DD) and install motion sensor mount (EE) in location where you wish your motion sensor to detect motion. Ensure that the “ UP” is facing upwards when installing. Ensure that the motion sensor mount (EE) is securely installed, but do not over-tighten screws (DD). € Gently slide the motion sensor onto the motion sensor mount (EE). Ensure that both the motion sensor and the mount are facing upwards where it says “ UP” € Gently adjust the motion sensor to where you wish it to detect motion. Install screws (DD) into these two holes. 3 Setting additional Motion Sensors/ Motion Sensor timeout feature • “PAIR” will begin to flash. Press the enter button (7) to continue. • “B” will be flashing. If you have a 2 nd motion sensor to use with the timer, make sure it is closeby to pair with the timer now. If not, press enter button (7) to continue. • “SNSR” will begin to flash. Press the enter button (7) to continue. • Choose between 5 to 30 minutes for the motion sensor timeout feature. This feature will start a countdown whenever the motion sensor detects movement. The light or device connected to the timer will stay on for the amount of time you choose in this step.
