Operation Description Device Overall Description The wifi product of the Laptop provides the highest level of integration and most aggressive BOM cost by integrating IEEE 802.11b/g into a single MAC/Baseband chip utilizing a single 2.4GHz transceiver. Integrated on-chip power amplifier and LNA reduce external component count, while still able to deliver ample transmit power for most applications. Wifi product utilizes WM8650’s patent pending technologies to fundamentally solve the interference and performance issues existed during 802.11b/g coexistence, thus improving both 802.11b/g performance and link stability in real environment. As a result, it enhances user experience in a totally wireless environment, where all devices are connected wirelessly through 802.11b/g link. The single installation package allows for easy setup and configuration of 802.11b/g devices. Combined user interface is intuitive to use. Once configured, both wireless links operate transparently in the background. Features - Single-band 2.4GHz 802.11b/g with up to 54Mbps data rate - Single installation package for both WLAN device setup - Single user interface for both WLAN device configuration and operation - Programmable WM8650 based solution easily upgradable to future standards as well as supporting additional wireless technologies . - Host Interface supports PCI-E
RF Exposure Statement 1. Standard Applicable According to 1.1307 (b)(1), systems operating under the provisions of this section shall be operated in a manner that ensure that the public is not exposed to radio frequency energy level in excess of the Commission’s guideline. This is a portable device. 2. Measurement Result: This is a portable device and the max average output power is 1 3. 41 dBm (21.92mW). Lower than the low threshold 60/f GHz = (24.37 mW) The SAR/MPE measurement is not necessary.
