STROBE LIGHT User Manual GENERAL INFORMATION: This product is one of home party series. It uses a xenon tube and can flash quickly and slowly according to the settings by adjusting knob. It is constructed of approved materials and is assembled in agency-inspected facilities. Follow all instructions in the user guide, and observe all warnings carefully for your further protection. SPECIFICATIONS: Manufacturer: SHENZHEN QIAOHUA INDUSTRIES LIMITED Power supply: 120V AC, 60Hz 18W, 0.15A Model: SL-A STROBE LIGHT User Manual IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS When using an electrical furnishing, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following: Read all the instructions before using (this furnishing). DANGER: To reduce the risk of electric shock: Always unplug this unit from the electrical outlet before cleaning. WARNING: Risk of injury, do not place any item on its surface. WARNING: To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury to persons: 1. Close supervision is necessary when this unit is used by, or near children, invalids, or disabled persons. 2. Use this unit only for its intended use as described in these instructions. Do not use attachments not recommend by the manufacturer. 3. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces. 4. Never operate this unit with the air openings blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and the like. 5. Never drop or insert any object into any opening. 6. Do not use outdoors. FOR HOUSEHOLD/RESIDENTIAL USE ONLY 7. Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered. 8. This product is NOT a toy. Keep out of children, s reach. The unit may get hot during use. Don ’t use under cabinet or shelf. 9. The lamp is non-replaceable. STROBE LIGHT User Manual 10. Unplug from outlet before putting on or taking off parts. 11. Never operate this furnishing if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged or, dropped into water. Return the furnishing to a service center for examination and repair. 12. To disconnect, turn all controls to the off position, then remove plug from outlet SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS Components 1 Mounting Bracket Screw Knob 2 Strobe Light Globe and Reflector 3 Mounting Bracket 4 Strobe Flash Frequency Adjuster Knob Operating Instructions To reduce the risk of electric shock, this furnishing has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified STROBE LIGHT User Manual electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way. Remove all packing materials and check that there are no foam and plastic packaging left on the unit. 1. Plug unit into AC power outlet. 2. Adjust to desired speed by turning the speed knob on the back of unit. 3. Unplug the unit from AC power outlet if the unit will not be used for a long periods of time. 4. The product must be fixed on flat surface while use. This is a handle provided with a round hole, please can screw the handle on any flat surface. 5. Use hook to support handle, not the electrical cord. 6. Do not install on radiant-heating type ceiling. STROBE LIGHT User Manual User-Maintenance Instructions WARNING: The plug must be removed from the power socket before any maintenance. 1. Unplug the power cord before do any cleaning work. Do not unplug by pulling on the cord directly. 2. Be careful not blocking the ventilation hole when do cleaning work. 3. If the furnishing is idle for a long time, storing the furnishing in dry place, do not crush the furnishing. Don't store the furnishing and power cord in high temperature and wet location. 4. Be careful not damage the power cord. When the cord is damaged, this furnishing should be thrown away. STROBE LIGHT User Manual 5. The light globe IS NOT replaceable. 6. The unit must be kept by dry. 7. Clean exterior with a dry cloth only. 8. Unplug from outlet before putting on or taking off parts. 9. Never operate this furnishing if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water .Return the furnishing to a service center for examination and repair. 10. To disconnect, turn all controls to the off position, then remove plug from outlet. CAUTION: TO PREVENT ELECTRIC SHOCK, MATCH WIDE BLADE OF PLUG. TO WIDE SLOT, FULLY INSERT. NOTE: This device complies with Part 18 of the FCC Rules. This product may cause interference to radio equipment and should not be installed near maritime safety communications equipment or other critical navigation or communication equipment operating between 0.45–30 MHz. This Class B RFLD complies with the Canadian standard ICES-005

Operational Description

Operation Description Model for SL-A SL-A contains tow parts: 1,audio play part The AC power is transformed to be a special voltage sending to music IC,and the IC makes speaker to work. 2,Flash light part The AC power is transformed to be a special voltage sending to work IC,ADJ consist of regulation resistor and related resistors ,TRIGER consist of thyristor and periphery components,then the ADJ circuit adjust the light to flash following a special rate from 0 to 10Hz.The max operation frequency of this circuit is 0.045MHz. Model for SL-B Compare with SL-A,SL-B does not contain audio play part,other parts are exactly the same as SL-A.
