Circuit Description AF part: The signal received by MIC is amplified through IC 1B, and entre into the network which is comprised of C15, R15, C16, R16, in the end, the audio frequency compression is completed by IC1A, IC4. RF part: The audio signal out of IC1A is modulated in VD, the crystal of which is from 14.856MHz to 17.885MHz. The Q5 ~ Q7 completes the frequency doubling and amplifying, then the signal is transmitted to space via antenna.

TUNE-UP PROCEDURE 1. Tune C46, C50, C53, L10 to maximize the main wave output and syntony wave minimize. 2. The frequency is determined and stabilized by the crystal. Ranged from 178.15MHz ~ 214.50MHz is met and fixed by the crystal X1. As the cartridge doesnβt have high sensitivity so there is no such kind a circuit for suppression of spurious radiation, and limiting modulation. 3. As the output power is usually less than 0 dBm, there is no circuit for limiting power. If it is necessary to lower the power then please get the R39βs value higher.
