ThisdevicecomplieswithPart15oftheFCCRules.Operationissubjecttothefollowingtwo conditions: (1)thisdevicemaynotcauseharmfulinterference,and (2)thisdevicemustacceptanyinterferencereceived,includinginterferencethatmaycause undesiredoperation. Frequencyhoppingspreadspectrumsystemsarenotrequiredtoemployallavailablehopping channelsduringeachtransmission.However,thesystem,consistingofboththetransmitterandthe receiver,mustbedesignedtocomplywithalloftheregulationsinthissectionshouldthe transmitterbepresentedwithacontinuousdata(orinformation)stream.Inaddition,asystem employingshorttransmissionburstsmustcomplywiththedefinitionofafrequencyhoppingsystem andmustdistributeitstransmissionsovertheminimumnumberofhoppingchannelsspecifiedin thissection. Theincorporationofintelligencewithinafrequencyhoppingspreadspectrumsystemthatpermits thesystemtorecognizeotheruserswithinthespectrumbandsothatitindividuallyand independentlychoosesandadaptsitshopsetstoavoidhoppingonoccupiedchannelsispermitted. Thecoordinationoffrequencyhoppingsystemsinanyothermannerfortheexpresspurposeof avoidingthesimultaneousoccupancyofindividualhoppingfrequenciesbymultipletransmittersis notpermitted.
