THE BOOK 12 things you should know about your DxO ONE. First Thing Your DxO ONE was designed by people like you. Welcome. You are part of a world of people who really care about great images. You know they happen at random times in unexpected places and they deserve to be captured beautifully. It’s a small community of people. So if you see another DxO ONE out in the world, you might want to say hello to whoever is using it. We’re pretty sure you’ll like each other. Second Thing Your DxO ONE comes with enough features to warrant a diagram. Please quickly review the few, but important parts of your DxO ONE. It’s super simple to use and we want to keep it that way. But if you need more information, please visit support.dxo.com/dxo-one Third Thing Your DxO ONE will cause people to ask questions. Is that thing a camera? (Yes.) Does it actually shoot like a DSLR? (Sure does.) Does it work with the iPad too? (Yes it does.) Is it really the world’s smallest 1-inch sensor camera? (Really.) How’s the lens? (Six-element lens with a 32mm focal length and aperture f/1.8.) Can I try it? (Be nice.) Fourth Thing Your DxO ONE is controlled by a free app. Download it in the App Store and your big, beautiful iPhone® screen becomes your big, beautiful viewfinder and control panel for every setting and function on the DxO ONE. Just unlock your iPhone, plug in your DxO ONE, and follow the instructions. We’ll wait...go ahead... Fifth Thing Your DxO ONE can be tricky to close the first time. You never need to force the connector down. Just remember to (1) line up the dots on the circular hub before disconnecting your iPhone®. Then (2) push the lens cover all the way down while folding the connector back inside. If it doesn’t retract, simply reconnect the DxO ONE to your iPhone, line up the dots, remove the phone, and try again. Sixth Thing Your DxO ONE shoots video too. Shoot in beautiful hi-res 1080p at 30fps with the exceptional sensitivity of the one-inch sensor. And the variable iris allows you to control the depth of field. Not to mention it shoots slow motion at 120 fps (720p). Sweet. Seventh Thing Your DxO ONE has a Selfie mode. Plug in the camera with the iPhone® facing you and the DxO ONE automatically goes into Selfie mode. It uses a soft box feature that brightens your iPhone screen so your face is more naturally lit. And then it counts down 3, 2, 1, and shoots so no one blinks or gets caught making the “I thought you already took the picture” face. Eighth Thing Your DxO ONE makes sharing as easy as shooting. Share your photos on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat right from the DxO ONE control panel. After all, what’s the point in having a Selfie mode if you can’t show it off, right? Share your photos using the #DxO ONE to receive exclusive rewards, photo love, and inspiration from the DxO ONE community. Ninth Thing Your DxO ONE photos can be even better in seconds. Download DxO Connect from our website (www.dxo.com/XXX) and plug the DxO ONE into your Mac or PC. DxO ONE Connect will then automatically launch and enhance your photos using some of the most powerful image processing software on the planet. Best of all, the process is automatic, so even a complete novice (not you, of course) can look like a pro. Tenth Thing Your DxO ONE comes with the best editing software in the business. DxO FilmPack lets you recreate the look of over 80 analog films faithfully rendered using DxO’s exclusive calibration process. Customize with additional filters, vignettes, frame and effects. DxO OpticsPro is the leading software for serious photographers recognized for its unrivaled image-processing quality. You can refine your photos in a fraction of the time: it automatically optimizes your RAW images, suppressing noise while preserving detail. To redeem your free licenses, just go to Settings in the ONE iOS app. Eleventh Thing Your DxO ONE works without your iPhone® too Even when not connected to your iPhone, the DxO ONE is a fully functioning miniature camera. Want to take photos of your kids without their tongue sticking out at you? Just open the lens cover and snap away in their general direction. (Just don’t tell them we told you to.) Twelfth Thing Your DxO One comes with a warranty. If you’re a lawyer, or extremely bored, you can read it. But if you ever have any problems with your DxO ONE, just contact us and we’ll do our very best to take care of things. support.dxo.com/dxo-one This assistive device is warranted to be specifically fit for the particular needs of you, the buyer.
