Request for Modular Transmitter Approval March 3, 2014 FCC ID :2ABXRBVMCN5I02 Applicant: Braveridge Co., Ltd. This transmitter, model: BVMCN5l02 is designed by us. It complies with the modular transmitters basic requirements (ltem I to 8) in FCC Part 15 Subpart C Section 15.212 as indicated below: Modular Approval Checklist: Modular aonroval requirement (l ) Have its own RF shielding. (2) Have buffered modulation/data inputs. (3) Have its own power supply regulation. (5) Tested in a stand-alone configuration. Unless the $ansmitter module will be battery powered, it must comply with the AC line conducted requirements found in FCC $ 15.207. AC or DC power lines and data inpuroutput lines connected to th€ module must not conlain ferrites, unless they will be marketed with the module. The lenglh ofthese lines shall be the length t)?ical ofactual use or, ifthat length is unknown, at least l0 centimeters to insure that there is no coupling between the case of the module and supponing equipment. Any accessories, peripherals, or support equipment connected to the module during testins shall be unmodified and commercially available. (6) Equipped with either a permanently affixed label or must be capable of electronicauy displaying its FCC ID. If the FCC ID is not visible when the module is installed inside anotherdevice, then the outside ofthe device into which the module is installed must also display a label referring to the enclosed module. (7) Comply with any specific rules or operating requirements that ordinarily apply to a complete transmitter and the manufacturer must provide adequate instructions along with the module to explain any such requirements, (8) Comply with any applicable RF exposure requirements in its final configuration: The modular transmitter complies with FCC radiation exposure requiremenl.

UL Japan, Inc. Head Office EMC Lab 4383-326 Asama-cho, Ise-shi, Mie 516-0021 Japan T:: +81.596.24.8999 / F:: +81.596.24.8124 / W:: ul.com/jp March 3, 2014 UL Japan, Inc. 4383-326 Asama-cho, Ise-shi, Mie 516-0021 Japan FCC ID: 2ABXRBVMCN5102 To whom it may concern, We, UL Japan, Inc, hereby declare that Bluetooth Low Energy Module, model: BVMCN5102 (FCC ID: 2ABXRBVMCN5102) of Braveridge Co., Ltd. is exempt from RF exposure SAR evaluation as its output power meets the exclusion limits stated in KDB 447498D01(V05). KDB 447498D01(V05) has the following exclusion for portable devices: The 1g and 10g SAR test exclusion thresholds for 100 MHz to 6 GHz at test separation distances ≤ 50 mm are determined by: [(max. power of channel, including tune-up tolerance, mW)/(min. test separation distance, mm)] ·[√f(GHz)] ≤ 3.0 for 1-g SAR and ≤ 7.5 for 10-g extremity SAR, where •f(GHz) is the RF channel transmit frequency in GHz •Power and distance are rounded to the nearest mW and mm before calculation •The result is rounded to one decimal place for comparison The test exclusions are applicable only when the minimum test separation distance is ≤ 50 mm and for transmission frequencies between 100 MHz and 6 GHz. When the minimum test separation distance is < 5 mm, a distance of 5 mm is applied to determine SAR test exclusion. This device has f = 2.48 GHz and distance = 5 mm (minimum separation distance: 5 mm was used in the calculation) and the maximum tune-up tolerance limit was 1 mW So for this device: 1 mW[maximum tune-up tolerance limit]/5 mm[minimum separation distance]*√2.48 = 0.3 *This is less than 3.0, so no SAR is required.
