Fisker X297 User Guide Steering Wheel Media Controls The left steering wheel controls relate to media, audio, and voice commands. 1. Voice Assistant. See Voice Assistant, page 20. 2. Forward/Next 3. Back/Previous 4. Telephone control. See Making and Receiving Phone Calls, page 13. 5. Volume control Scroll up/down to control media volume. Press to mute/unmute. 2 Media and Audio Overview On the Central Touchscreen, select . From the main Music menu, press to select between Radio, Bluetooth, or streaming audio services, allowing you to directly control and personalize your apps. Note: Many third-party media applications require a data connection and login information, and some services are subscription-based. Refer to the provider for more information. The player for selected media appears at the bottom of the Central Touchscreen. Searching media content Most music applications have a Search bar you can use to find specific content. The on-screen keyboard will automatically appear when you tap in the Search bar field. Adding to Favorites Press the icon next to a song or station to add it to your Favorites list for that audio application. 3 INFOTAINMENT Radio ## Image to be updated; DAB missing Choose between FM and DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) radio, or select Favorites to access your personalized list. Radio settings Press in the upper right corner of the Radio screen to access DAB settings and customize your preferences. Audio Streaming Services Integration On the Central Touchscreen, ## for a list of available third-party media. Note: Many third-party media applications require a data connection and login information, and some services are subscription-based. Refer to the provider for more information. Playing Media from Devices The infotainment system can also play media from devices connected to your vehicle via USB or paired via Bluetooth® (see Pairing a Bluetooth® Device, page 9). Select Bluetooth to browse to your connected device, then press it to open options. INFOTAINMENT Maps and Navigation 4 Audio Settings On the Central Touchscreen, select > Audio to access your vehicle’s audio settings. Select from three customized Equalizer Presets, then touch and drag the slider to adjust a setting. Swipe up on the screen to scroll down and access Sound Stage. From here, you can select the area where you wish to direct the sound system output. If equipped, you can also press to turn 3D Sound Expansion On or Off. INFOTAINMENT Maps and Navigation 5 Navigation Overview To access maps and navigation, select on the Central Touchscreen. This screen will display your current location on the map whenever a data connection is present. See Connectivity, page 17. Navigating To navigate to a location, you can select a destination in several ways: • Tap in the search field to bring up the on-screen keyboard and enter an address. • Tap on the map to select a location. • Tap to select your Home location. See Setting Home and Favorite Destinations, page 7. • Tap to select a location from your Favorites list. See Setting Home and Favorite Destinations, page 7. • Tap to locate nearby charging stations. • Tap for a listing of nearby food and drink locations. INFOTAINMENT Maps and Navigation 6 When you select a location, you can press Route to view or modify the route, and press Drive when you are ready to begin navigating. At this point, audible and visual turn-by- turn navigation begins, and is displayed both on the Central Touchscreen (as shown above) and on the Driver Display (see Driver Display Overview). Adjusting the Map The map centers around your current location by default. The map can be rotated, panned, or zoomed in and out via the Central Touchscreen. Use the icons around the map as follows: • Tap to open navigation settings. See Navigation Settings, page 7. • Tap to mute/unmute audible navigation directions. • Any time the map is manipulated, tap to return to your current position. • Tap to stop navigating. INFOTAINMENT Maps and Navigation 7 Setting Home and Favorite Destinations Common destinations such as your Home or Workplace can be designated accordingly in the system, allowing you quick access within the Navigation menus. ## More info needed from Fisker Offline Mode When your vehicle does not have an available wireless internet connection, the navigation system will pull from any existing map data that was previously downloaded. Any resulting information displayed will not include live traffic conditions. Map Updates When a data connection is present, updated maps are automatically downloaded to your vehicle via an OTA map update. To ensure your system has the latest information, make sure your vehicle is regularly connected to a network. See Connectivity, page 17. Navigation Settings Tap on the Navigation screen for options: Map settings • Buildings in 3D: Tap to toggle On or Off. • Downloaded Maps: Tap to view the list of maps downloaded to your vehicle. INFOTAINMENT Phone and Smart Devices 9 Bluetooth® Compatibility When in operating range, you can pair a Bluetooth®-capable phone with your vehicle for hands-free use. Bluetooth® usually supports a wireless connection of approximately 30 feet (9 m), although range can vary based on atmospheric conditions and the device used. To use your phone with the vehicle, you must pair it first. See Pairing a Bluetooth® Device, page 9. Up to ten devices can be paired to the vehicle, and two devices can be connected simultaneously. For example, if you own one phone for personal use and another for work, you can connect both to your vehicle and send or receive hands- free calls from either one.
