Battery Safety Notices Ultimate disposal of this product should be handled according to all national laws and regulations. Do not dispose of the battery in fire or water. The battery may explode if placed in a fire. Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, or incinerate the battery. Unit is field replaceable as a whole; there are no user serviceable parts. Handle a damaged or leaking battery with extreme care. If you come in contact with the electrolyte, wash the exposed area with soap and water. If the electrolyte has come in contact with the eye, flush the eye with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention. 3. Intended Use 1. The purpose of this device is a monitoring station accessory: monitors the status of battery and reports, via Bluetooth, when polled. The MLA-1599 is used for testing, demonstration, interoperability and compatibility of the Bluetooth Low Energy transceiver between this device and any master device that has registered this device through its proprietary registration process. 2. Indoor operation only --not to be used in a wet area or outdoors. 4. User Switch On the top of the platform move the switch towards the edge of the device, for operational mode. 5. Interpretation of LEDs On the front of the device, there are 6 LEDs which will report the status of the device. ο· Green LEDs β all systems are functioning ο· Red LEDs β battery supporting the Bluetooth transceiver is at a level below the operational mode. Time to re- charge the battery via the mini USB port. 6. Mini USB Port Insert a designated cable from the mini USB port into the electrical outlet to charge the batteries which operate the Bluetooth transceiver, when necessary.

Testing for conducted emissions was performed using a suitable charger adapter (Apple model A1385). The device pairs automatically with a router once it reports its credentials via BT.com.
