ENERGOUS POWERBRIDGE PRO+ (FCC ID: 2ADNG-YND-GW) INSTALLATION DOCUMENT Document Version: V1.0 Date: 06/29/2026 Prepared By: Ryan Fanciullo, Energous Director of Operations Purpose This document provides installation guidelines and best practices for the Energous PowerBridge PRO+ transmitter, which operates in the 900 MHz band and 2.4 GHz for BLE and Wi-Fi communication protocols. The PowerBridge PRO+ has an output power of 8 W EIRP (2 W conducted). The intent is to ensure safe, compliant, and optimal system performance in commercial and industrial environments. 2. System Overview • Frequency Band: 900 MHz & 2.4Ghz • Maximum EIRP: 8 Watts • Conducted Power: 2 Watts • Mounting Pattern: 100 × 100 Vesa Mount • Typical Applications: Commercial and industrial Wireless Power Networks for IOT tags 3. Safety and Compliance Considerations • Installation must comply with all applicable local, national, and regulatory requirements. This document addresses general best practices but does not take precedence of local laws and regulations. • Equipment should be mounted to prevent accidental contact by personnel. • Install PowerBridge PRO+ accordingly to ensure a minimum 35cm separation distance from persons. • Ensure mounting hardware is rated for the environment and load. 4. Approved Mounting Methods The transmitter supports both wall-mounted and ceiling-mounted installations using approved mounting hardware. 4.1 Wall Mount Installation • Utilize an approved wall-mount bracket compatible with the 100 × 100 Vesa Mount pattern. • Minimum mounting height should take into consideration the required 35cm separation distance from all persons. • Wall mounting closer than this required separation distance, 35cm, from all persons does not comply with FCC RF radiation exposure limits as per FCC Rule Part 2.1093. 4.2 Ceiling Mount Installation The transmitter may be mounted from the ceiling using the following configurations: • Single Mount • Double Mount • Quad Mount Standard Ceiling Height (8-Foot Work Areas) • Units may be mounted directly to the ceiling. • Mounting below an 8-foot ceiling height is not recommended as it reduces the WPN operation. Commercial / High-Ceiling Environments • Recommended mounting height range: o 10 to 16 feet above the finished floor. • This height range provides: o Optimal RF propagation o Reduced obstructions o Improved safety and compliance 5. Installation Best Practices • Verify mounting surface integrity before installation. • Confirm antenna orientation and clearance from large metal objects. • Maintain consistent mounting height across multiple units for uniform RF coverage. • Avoid installing near sources of electrical interference. • Ensure installation meets the required minimum 35cm separation distance from all persons. 6. Final Inspection and Verification After installation: • Verify mechanical security of all mounts. • Confirm unit orientation and minimum separation distance. • Power on the unit and confirm normal operation. • Document installation location, height, and mounting type. 8.
