1 Bluetooth Speaker Model: 56802BT INSTRUCTION MANUAL PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND RETAIN FOR FUTURE USE Getting Started • Remove the speaker from the box. • Remove any packaging from the product. • Please retain all packaging until you have checked and counted all the parts and the contents against the parts list. 2 Package Contents • Bluetooth Micro Cube Speaker with lanyard • USB rechargeable cable • Instruction Manual Key Features • Wireless Connectivity using Bluetooth®2.1+EDR Technology • Use as Hands‐Free speaker phone, with a built‐in microphone • Compatible with all Bluetooth enabled devices such as Smart Phones, Tablets, etc. • Built‐in wireless shutter remote – perfect for selfies • Wireless Streaming Range – 26 to 33 Feet SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS • Keep the unit away from heat sources, direct sunlight, humidity, water and any other liquids. • Do not operate the unit if it has been exposed to water, moisture or any other liquids to prevent against electric shock, explosion and/or injury to yourself and damage to the unit. • Do not use the unit if it has been dropped or damaged in any way. • Repairs to electrical equipment should only be performed by a qualified electrician. Improper repairs may place the user at serious risk. • Do not use the unit with wet hands. • Do not put objects into any of the openings. • Keep the unit free from dust, lint etc. • Do not use this unit for anything other than its intended use. • Keep the unit out of reach of children. • This appliance is not a toy. • Do not use the handset at excessive levels as damage to hearing may occur. • Batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) shall not be exposed to excessive heat place, such as sunshine, fire or the like. 3 Description of Parts INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Charging the speaker The speaker has built‐in rechargeable battery. When the battery is drained out, device would turn OFF automatically. Please recharge the battery every time it drains out. Plug the Micro USB end of the included USB rechargeable cable into the charging port. Plug the other end into a USB port on your computer or other devices made for USB charging. Red charging LED Light illuminates indicating that the device is being charged. It takes up to 2 hours to fully charge the device. Once the device is fully charged, Red charging LED Light would turn OFF. 4 Turning ON/OFF the Speaker – Before Turning ON the device, please ensure that the unit is fully charged. Press and hold the middle button for few seconds to turn ON/OFF the device. Connect using Bluetooth Technology (manually) ƒ Turn On the Speaker. You would hear a start‐up tone, and Blue operation LED light would flash rapidly, indicating that you are now in Bluetooth Pairing Mode. ƒ Activate the Bluetooth function on your source device (Mobile Phone or Tablet). Please refer to manufacturer’s instructions for instructions on enabling Bluetooth on your device. ƒ Search for available Bluetooth devices and you would find “SL MICRO CUBE” – Pair it with this device. ƒ If required, enter the password “0000” to pair with the device ƒ You can now stream wireless music on your speaker through your source device. ƒ Wait for few seconds and you will hear tone sound from the speaker, and the Blue operation LED will turn on indicating pairing has been successful. ƒ You can now stream wireless music on your speaker through your source device. Talking using the Bluetooth Speaker Please ensure that your cell phone is paired with the Bluetooth Speaker to use the below functions. Function Operation Button Answer Incoming Call Incoming Call Press the middle button once to answer an incoming call. End Call Incoming Call After your phone conversation, press the middle button once. (Note: After ending the incoming call, you may need to press the middle button once again to resume music, depending on your phone,) Listening to Music Wirelessly Please ensure that your device (iPhone, Tablet or Other Smart Phone) is paired with the Bluetooth Speaker to stream music wirelessly. Once it is paired, play music from your device. Function Operation Button Pause Playing music Press the middle button once will pause the music. Play Pausing Press the middle button once will resume the music. (Note: The above functions only can be used in Bluetooth mode only. For volume increase/decrease, you will need to control through your source device.) Using the Wireless Shutter Remote Please ensure that your device (iPhone, Tablet or Other Smart Phone) is paired with the Bluetooth Speaker to use this Wireless Shutter Remote function. Once it is paired, short press the middle button to take photo on camera mode. Note: Microphone function doesn’t work in Wireless Shutter Remote mode. 5 Changing from Wireless Music to Wireless Shutter Remote or vice versa 1. Please ensure that your device (iPhone, Tablet or Other Smart Phone) is paired with the Bluetooth Speaker to play music wirelessly. Short press the middle button twice and then wait for a few seconds for changing to Wireless Shutter Remote. Adjust your device to camera mode and then press the middle button once each time to take a photo. 2. Short press the middle button twice for changing back to Wireless Music mode.
