Enter pairing mode: With helmet off, press and hold Power button for 3s until the rear LED flashes red. 2. Search device: Launch Lumos App, allow permissions, and tap + on All Devices page. 3. Complete pairing: Select your helmet, tap Pair, then tap Continue once Paired. 6 PAIRING WITH APP Unlock REPLACEABLE ELECTRONIC MODULE Front Light Removal 1. Ensure the helmet is turned off. 2. Slide the module horizontally to the left. 3. Pull the module off the mounting base once it snaps free. 7 Rear Light Removal 1. Ensure the helmet is turned off. 2. Slide the module horizontally to the left. 3. Pull the module off the mounting base once it snaps free. Unlock 8 Lock Installation 1. Align the module with the three slots on the base (refer to the "Install" arrow and lock icon). 2. Slide the module horizontally to the right until it snaps securely into place. Lock 9 CAUTION Do Not Repeatedly Remove and Install the Lights Only remove the lights when replacing the helmet or light units. Frequent disassembly may cause unpredictable structural damage. Do Not Ride Without Lights Installed Never ride if the front or rear lights are missing. The lights are essential for your safety; riding without them compromises protection. Do Not Disassemble the Light Units Do not open or alter the light units. Lumos Helmet User Manual Before using your Lumos Helmet, review the user manual at: www.ridelumos.com/support Safety and Handling See “Fitting instructions and usage warnings” in the Lumos Helmet User Manual. Fitting Instructions The helmet must fit properly to be effective. With proper fit, the helmet will not move back and forth or side to side while fastened. The helmet can only protect if it fits well. Refer to the following image: With every helmet, clear information in the language of the country of sale shall be given as follows: (1) that the helmet can only protect if it fits well and that the buyer should try different sizes and choose the size which feels secure and comfortable on the head; (2) that the helmet should be adjusted to fit the user, e.g. the straps positioned so that they do not cover the ears, the buckle positioned away from the jawbone and the straps and buckle adjusted to be both comfortable and firm; (3) helmet should be positioned on the head to ensure the intended protection is provided (e.g. that it should be placed so as to protect the forehead and not be pushed too far over the back of the head); (4) that a helmet cannot always protect against injury; (5) that a helmet subjected to a severe impact should be EN 2 discarded and destroyed; (6) a statement of the danger of modifying or removing any of the original component parts of the helmet other than as recommended by the manufacturer, and that helmets should not be adapted for the purpose of fitting accessories in a way not recommended by the manufacturer.
