WELCOME TO WYZE IN THE BOX Wyze Home Monitoring is an automated monitoring service designed to keep your home saf e and report thr eat s even when you can’t r eview Events by yourself. During an emergency, an agent from the monitoring center will reach out to you and dispatch authoritie s if necessar y. Wyze Sense Hub × 1 Wyze Keypad × 1 Contact Sensor × 2 Wyze Entry Motion Sensor × 1 Quick Start Guide × 1 Window Decals × 2 Hub The brains of your new security system. The Sense Hub connects sensor s to the Wyze app and has a built-in sir en to war d to your home internet via WiFi or Ethernet o would-be intruders. Connect the Hub and make sur e it’s placed in a central location for best cover age. Keypad Placed near your door, t he Wyze Sense Keypad makes it easy to quickly arm and disarm your system. Motion Sensor Designed to detect people and not pets. Place it high on the wall for best coverage. Entry Sensor Always know when your doors are open or left open. Mount on primary entry/exits and windows. ACTIVATION To activ at e Wyze Home Monitoring, enter your activ ation code thr ough the following link: services.wyze.com Note: If you ordered a Wyze Cor e Star ter Kit online, y ou may activat e your Home Monitoring thr ough your email. Total installation time should take less than 40 minutes. Befor e you get star ted, make sur e you have a step ladder or stool handy and a scr ewdriver if you plan to mount your motion sensor in a corner. Make sur e to follow the in-app guide to ensur e your devices are added to your Wyze account and installed properly. IN STALLATION & SETUP SETUP Control and monitor your entir e home via the Wyze app. T o get star ted, simply download the Wyze app to your mobile phone and log in or create an account. 1 HARDWARE OVERVIEW To star t your Home Monitoring setup, navigate to the Wyze app, and go into the Home Monitoring Tab. When your Home Monitoring license is activ at ed, you can tap on the ‘Star t Setup' button. This will guide you thr ough the installation process. Not seeing thi s scr een? Go to services.wyze.com to activ at e. WYZE SENSE HUB WYZE SENSE KEYPAD Ensur e your phone’s Bluetooth is turned on Click on the Monitoring tab in the bottom navigation bar of the Wyze app Use the included cables to plug the device into a nearby outle t and router . If your router is not locat ed in a central location, you can also connect the Hub to WiFi Rai se the two antennas Press the Reset button on the back of t he device Follow the in-app instructions to complete setup After the Hub is set up, you will be prompted to add additional devices. Click on each device to begin setup. batteries Replace the batter y cover Slide the mounting plate and battery cover o to insert 3 AA Press the Reset button Name your keypad Clean the desir ed mounting location and wait for it to dry completely Use the adhesive back or screws to secure the mounting plate to the wall Attach your keypad to the mounting plate NOTE: the adhesive is semi-permanent and may peel paint when removed The Keypad is designed to be mounted on the wall near your door and connects to the Hub. MOTION SENSOR Remove the plastic batter y tab. If you previously removed it, pr ess and hold the reset button until the status light flashes 3 times Name your sensor Clean the desir ed mounting location and wait for it to dry completely Use the adhesiv e backing to secure the mounting plate to the desir ed location Use scr ews for optional added security Attach sensor to mounting plate Mount on wall or corner ~7 feet high Avoid placing it near heat sources (v ents, lamps, etc.) Ensur e Wyze logo is on the LEFT side 123 PIN ENTRY & EXIT DELAYS Control how much time you allow to disarm your system befor e an alarm. You may choose between 0 to 180 seconds. If you do not disarm your system, an alarm will begin. Entry Delay Control the amount of t ime for people to leave your home befor e the system is armed. You may choose between 0 to 180 seconds. Exit Delay Change your Entry & Exit Delay Go into the Home Monitoring Tab Scr oll to the bottom to find the Home Monitoring Settings button Navigate to Entry & Exit Delay Choose your delay time for Home or Away 1 2 3 4 1 Enter your PIN and then press the checkmark and your desir ed mode Your PIN will be used to disarm your system or cancel an Emergency Response request. Evaluation Method Systems operating under the provisions of FCC 47 CFR section shall be operated in a manner that ensures that the public is not exposed to radio frequency energy level in excess of the Commission’s guidelines. In accordance with 47 CFR FCC Part 2 Subpart J, section 2.1091 this device has been defined as mobile device whereby a distance of 0.2m normally can be maintained between the user and the device, and below RF Permissible Exposure limit shall comply with. In accordance with KDB447498D01 for Simultaneous transmission MPE test exclusion applies when the sum of the MPE ratios for all simultaneous transmitting antennas incorporated in a host device, based on the calculated/estimated, numerically modelled or measured field strengths or power density, is ≤ 1.0. The MPE ratio of each antenna is determined at the minimum test separation distance required by the operating configurations and exposure conditions of the host device, according to the ratio of field strengths or power density to MPE limit, at the test frequency. Either the maximum peak or spatially averaged results from measurements or numerical simulations may be used to determine the MPE ratios. Spatial averaging does not apply when MPE is estimated using simple calculations based on far-field plane-wave equivalent conditions. The antenna installation and operating requirements for the host device must meet the minimum test separation distances required by all antennas, in both standalone and simultaneous transmission operations, to satisfy compliance. 3.
