Parque TecnolĂłgico de AndalucĂa C/ Severo Ochoa 2 & 6 29590 Campanillas Málaga, España Ref: FCC Modular approval letter for FCC ID: 2ANPO00NRF9151 To whom it may concern: The following attestation addresses the requirements to support modular approval pursuant to §15.212 of the Commission’s Rules: Modular approval requirement Yes No* (i) The radio elements of the modular transmitter must have their own shielding. The physical crystal and tuning capacitors may be located external to the shielded radio elements. X (ii) The modular transmitter must have buffered modulation/data inputs (if such inputs are provided) to ensure that the module will comply with part 15 requirements under conditions of excessive data rates or over-modulation. X (iii) The modular transmitter must have its own power supply regulation. X (iv) The modular transmitter must comply with the antenna and transmission system requirements of §§15.203, 15.204(b) and 15.204(c). The antenna must either be permanently attached or employ a “unique” antenna coupler (at all connections between the module and the antenna, including the cable). The “professional installation” provision of §15.203 is not applicable to modules but can apply to limited modular approvals under paragraph (b) of this section. X (v) The modular transmitter must be tested in a stand-alone configuration, i.e., the module must not be inside another device during testing for compliance with part 15 requirements. Unless the transmitter module will be battery powered, it must comply with the AC line conducted requirements found in §15.207. AC or DC power lines and data input/output lines connected to the module must not contain ferrites, unless they will be marketed with the module (see §15.27(a)). The length of these lines shall be the length typical of actual use or, if that length is unknown, at least 10 centimeters to insure that there is no coupling between the case of the module and supporting equipment. Any accessories, peripherals, or support equipment connected to the module during testing shall be unmodified and commercially available (see §15.31(i)). X (vi) The modular transmitter must be equipped with either a permanently affixed label or must be capable of electronically displaying its FCC identification number. X (vii) The modular transmitter must comply with any specific rules or operating requirements that ordinarily apply to a complete transmitter and the manufacturer must provide adequate instructions along with the module to explain any such requirements. A copy of these instructions must be included in the application for equipment authorization. X (viii) The modular transmitter must comply with any applicable RF exposure requirements in its final configuration. X * Shall provide a detailed explanation if the answer is “No”. Date: 21 March 2024 NB-IoT offset description Manufacturer: Nordic Semiconductor ASA FCC ID: 2ANPO00NRF9151 IC: 24529-NRF9151 We, Nordic Semiconductor ASA, hereby states that our module nRF9151 has been tested to certify Cat M1 and NB-IoT bands for FCC and ISED certification. The strategy followed to perform this testing was finding the channels outermost of the bands, which complies with the block edge testing; accordingly, we can demonstrate the lowest and highest channels for NB-IoT bands are the following ones: Channel Number (Frequency MHz) – NB-IoT B2 B4 B5 B8 B12 B13 B17 B25 B26 B66 B85 Lowest 18602 (1850.2) 19952 (1710.2) 20402 (824.20) 21628 (897.80) 23012 (699.20) 23182 (777.20) 23732 (704.20) 26042 (1850.2) 20402 (814.20) 131974 (1710.2) 134004 (698.2) Middle 18900 (1880) 20300 (1745) 20525 (836.50) 21640 (899) 23090 (707) 23230 (782) 23790 (710) 26365 (1882.5) 20525 (836.50) 132322 (1745) 134092 (707) Highest 19198 (1909.8) 132670 (1754.8) 20648 (848.80) 21652 (900.20) 23179 (715.9) 23278 (786.80) 23848 (715.80) 26688 (1914.8) 20648 (848.80) 132670 (1779.8) 134181 (715.9) For NB-IoT technology, an offset of ± 100 kHz for the first/last transmission channel is needed because the bandwidth required for a transmission is 200 kHz. However, for some bands it has been adjusted the lower and/or higher operating band limits in order to be in compliance with the results obtained in the band-edge test. All measurements have been performed in accordance with the allocated channels above, being the result of the band edge limit test case. The operating frequency bands for this module are defined as above for NB-IoT, and this restriction will be applied by enabling only the above specified bandwidths via firmware setting, without hardware modifications. For ISED the band 26 is limited to B5. Yours sincerely, By: Niko Balabanis Title: Certification Manager Company: Nordic Semiconductor ASA Telephone: +47 72898900 e-mail: [email protected]

The Effective Radiated Power (E.R.P) of mobile transmitter and auxiliary test transmitter must not exceed 7 Watts (38.45 dBm E.R.P.). * RSS-132 Issue 4. Clause 5.4. The transmitter output power shall be measured in terms of average power. The equivalent radiated power (e.r.p.) shall not exceed 7 watts for mobile equipment and 3 watts for portable equipment. The effective isotropic radiated power (e.i.r.p.) shall not exceed the limits specified in SRSP-503 for base station equipment. In addition, the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of the transmitter shall not exceed 13 dB for more than 0.1% of the time using a signal corresponding to the highest PAPR during periods of continuous transmission. In addition, the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of the transmitter shall not exceed 13 dB for more than 0.1% of the time using a signal corresponding to the High PAPR during periods of continuous transmission. Method The conducted RF output power measurements were made at the RF output terminals of the EUT using the power meter of the Universal Radio Communication tester R&S CMW500, selecting maximum transmission power of the EUT and different modes of modulation. The peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) is measured using an attenuator, power splitter and spectrum analyser with a Complementary Cumulative Distribution Function implemented. The maximum equivalent isotropically radiated power (e.i.r.p.) is calculated by adding the declared maximum antenna gain (dBi). The maximum effective radiated power e.r.p. is calculated from the maximum equivalent isotropically radiated power (e.i.r.p.) by subtracting 2.15 dB: E.R.P. = E.I.R.P. - 2.15 dB Test Setup 1.
