Measure to confirm that the bore hole is 1-1/2’’ or 2-1/8" (38mm or 54mm) Drive-In Collar (B) Install the latch and strike 2 STEP Hold the latch in front of the bore hole, with the latch face flush against the door edge. Is the slotted hole centered in the door hole? No adjustment is required. Proceed to next step. Slotted hole is NOT centered. A B YES NO Rotate and pull the latch as shown to extend latch. 2-3/4" (70mm) 2-3/8" (60mm) pull Install the latch. Latch Screws (I) up 4 Determine backset and adjust the latch. Chiseled Not Chiseled Make sure the hole in door frame is drilled a minimum of 1" (25mm) deep. IMPORTANT: D (Optional) 5 C Use a screwdriver to test if deadbolt works smoothly. D Install strike on the door frame. Install exterior assembly 3 STEP Unlocked IMPORTANT: Locked B With the latch fully retracted (in the unlocked position), route the cable below the latch, and insert the tailpiece through the slot in the latch. Remove the spacer Proceed to next step A 1-1/2" (38mm) 2-1/8" (54mm) Measure the diameter of the hole in the door. 1-1/2" or 2-1/8" (38 or 54mm) C Secure the mounting plate with the supplied screws. Do not overtighten screws. Keep parallel to door edge. Mounting plate Screws (J) 6 Tailpiece Before installation, make sure the latch is fully retracted (in the unlocked position). 7 C Install interior assembly 4 STEP Insert the cable into the connector. Push the connector in firmly until it is completely attached. AB D Unlocked Interior Assembly Screws (K) E Horizontal Keep the thumb turn in the vertical position and install the interior assembly. Attach interior assembly to mounting plate and tighten 3 screws. Test the lock by rotating the thumb turn to see if the bolt can be extended and retracted smoothly. Push the battery cover up in the direction as illustrated. 8 This step is required and crucial for the lock after installation. IMPORTANT: 5 STEP While keeping your lock unlocked, insert 4 AA alkaline batteries into the battery pack. AB If the reset is successful, the latch bolt will extend on its own to learn the handing orientation of the door. C Use the Reset Tool to press and hold the Reset Button for more than 5 seconds until you hear a long "BEEP". Spatial averaging does not apply when MPE is estimated using simple calculations based on far-field plane-wave equivalent conditions. The antenna installation and operating requirements for the host device must meet the minimum test separation distances required by all antennas, in both standalone and simultaneous transmission operations, to satisfy compliance. 3.
