Receive a notification whenever your camera detects motion and see a video clip of this motion to check everything. โข Physical Privacy Mode โ Maintain privacy with the lens blocked by the housing when physical privacy mode is enabled. โข Flexible Storage Choices โ Save recorded videos on the microSD card โ (up to 512GB) or by using Tapo Care** cloud storage services. โ microSD card needs to be purchased separately. โข 850nm or 940nm Night Vision โ Switch to the 940nm IR LED to watch over your baby without interrupting their sleep. โข Privacy Zone โ Block customizable zones from being recorded. โข Sound and Light Alarm โ Trigger sounds and light as an alarm when motion is detected. โข Smart Motion Tracking โ Tracks and follows a subject, keeping it within the camera's field of view. โข Activity Zone โ Notifies you when activity is detected in specific zones. โข Two-Way Audio โ Enables communication through a built-in microphone and speaker. โข Field of View - 360ยฐ horizontal range. โข Cross-Line Detection โ Notifies you when passing set boundaries. โข Easy Setup โ Follow the in-app instructions to easily set up in minutes. 3 Appearance The Pan/Tilt Home Security Wi-Fi Camera has a system LED that changes color according to its status, a lens, microphone, speaker, DC power port, RESET button, and a microSD card slot. Refer below for details. โข RESET Button Press and hold for at least 5 seconds until the LED blinks red to reset your camera. โข microSD Card Slot Insert a microSD card and initialize it in the Tapo app for local recording. System LED โข Solid red: Starting up โข Blinking red and green: Ready for setup โข Blinking red slowly: Connecting to Wi-Fi โข Solid amber: Connected to Wi-Fi โข Solid green: Connected to the cloud โข Blinking red quickly: Camera resetting โข Blinking green quickly: Camera updating Microphone Built-in internal microphone. Lens 4 Set Up Your Camera Follow the steps below to get started with your new camera. Step 1. Download Tapo App Get the Tapo app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, or by scanning the QR code below. OR Step 2. Log In Open the app, and log in with your TP-Link ID. If you don't have an account, create one first. Step 3. Add Your Camera Tap the button in the app and select your model. 5 Step 4. Configure Camera Follow app instructions to configure your camera and add it to your home network. Step 5. Place Camera Place your camera on a flat surface, or install it on a wall or ceiling with the provided mounting template and screws. Note: Make sure you affix the camera base using screws before securing the camera. 1. Mark Position Place the mounting template where you want the camera. For wall mounting, drill two holes through two circles. 2. Mount Base Affix the camera base using the screws.
