Please note that features of Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Power Outlet may vary slightly depending on the model and software version you have, and on your location, language and internet service provider. All images, steps, and descriptions in this guide are only examples and may not reflect your actual Kasa experience. Set schedules and turn devices on or off with your smartphone or voice assistant. Ideal for controlling lamps, kitchen appliances, and other devices from anywhere. Download the Kasa app and control your outlets remotely. The Kasa app provides easy step-by-step installation instructions and convenient remote control from anywhere. โ€ข 2 Smart Outlets - Individually control each outlet and take up less space than smart plugs. โ€ข Easy Install - The Kasa Smart app provides an easy to follow step-by-step wiring guide to help replace your existing in-wall outlets. โ€ข No Hub Required - Connect to your existing Wi-Fi router. No hub or accessories required. โ€ข Scheduling - Set a schedule to automatically turn your smart outlets on and off. โ€ข Voice Control - Use Alexa, Google Assistant, or Microsoft Cortana to control your devices with voice commands. โ€ข Works with IFTTT - Have your smart outlets work together with other devices through support from IFTTT. 3 Appearance Smart Power Outlet has 2 individual smart outlets, with control buttons to turn on/off devices plugged in. The System LED changes color according to its status. See the explanation below: Smart Outlet * 2 Plug in your device and control it from your smartphone. Each outlet is independent. Control Button * 2 ยท Press the button to turn on or off the corresponding outlet. ยท Press and hold a button for 5s to reenable setup mode. ยท Press and hold a button for 10s to restore KP200 to factory default settings. Green Lit up for about 30 seconds when connected to the Wi-Fi network, then turns off. Blinking Amber Resetting. Blinking Green Searching for Wi-Fi. Red No Wi-Fi connection. Blinking Amber and Green App-Config mode initiated. 4 Set Up Your Smart Power Outlet Follow the steps below to set up your Smart Power Outlet via Kasa Smart app. 1. Download and install Kasa app Go to Google Play or the Apple App Store or scan the QR code below to download the Kasa app on your Android or iOS smartphone or tablet. 2. Log in or sign up with TP-Link ID Open the app. Use your TP-Link ID to log in. If you donโ€™t have a TP-Link ID, tap Create Account and the Kasa app will guide you through the rest. 3. Add Device Tap the + button in the Kasa app, select Smart Plugs > Smart Outlet. Follow app instructions to complete the setup. 5 Main Device Controls After you successfully set up your Smart Power Outlet, you will see the home page of the Kasa app. Here you can view the status of all devices that you've added to Kasa and manage them. There are 2 smart outlets of KP200 and you can tap on a smart outlet to control and manage . Home Page All your devices are listed in the Home page. Device Status Tap the outlet in the Home page and you'll see its status and advanced features. You can turn on or off your Smart Outlet by tapping the switch. 6 Set Schedules Schedule: Set schedules to automatically turn on/off the devices plugged in to the smart outlets of your Smart Power Strip respectively according to your daily routine. 1. Tap a smart outlet that you want to set a schedule for in the Home page, and then Tap . 2. Tap + on the top right corner.2. Set a schedule to turn the smart outlet on or off. For example, I want to turn off my Living Room light at 11:00 PM every day. 7 4. You can also choose to turn on/off the smart outlet simply at Sunrise or Sunset. Please note that the Sunrise and Sunset times are based your location. 5. Tap Save and you'll see your schedule listed in the Schedule Page. You can add more schedules following the same steps. 6. You can turn off your schedule any time at the Schedule page. 8 Set Timer Timer: Set set the timer for your smart outlet to automatically turn on/off after the time ends. 1. Tap a smart outlet that you want to set a timer for in the Home page, and then tap . 2. Set the time after which the smart outlet will be automatically turned on/off. For example, I want to turn off my Living Room Light after 30 minutes. 2. Tap S TA R T and you'll see the timer is counting down. Tap Stop to stop the Timer at any time. 9 Set Away Mode Away Mode: Set Away Mode for the smart outlet of your power strip to turn on/off automatically at random intervals while you are away to make the appearance that someone is at home. 1. Tap a smart outlet that you want to set Away Mode for in the Home page, and then tap . 2. Set the start and end time during which the smart outlet wilโ€ฆ
