Circuit Description Bluetooth Keyboard Pairing 1. Power charge battery inside keyboard will by connecti ng USB (for charging only) to 5V voltage output which will be reduced to 4.2V by 4054. 2. Power Bluetooth IC via stab ilivolt 2.8V when powered on. 3. Press the Connect button. The two Power LED will light, indicating that the keyboard is ready to be connected to the iPad. 4. Turn on and unlock the iPad, then click on the Settings icon on the screen to display the Settings menu. 5. On the Settings menu, select General to display the Bluetooth options, then click “B luetooth” to activate the connection. The iPad will automatically search for a Bluet ooth-enabled device and display a Bluetooth screen. 6. When “Bluetooth Keyboard” displays in the De vices field, click on it to connect. 7. On the Bluetooth Keyboar d, enter the passkey that displays (sampl e shown), then press <E nter> or <Return>. 8. “Connected” should now display in the Devices fiel d, and the Power LED should remain lit until the keyboard is turned off.
