Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference, including in- terference that may cause undesired opera- tion of this device. This transmitter must not be co-located or operated in conjunction with any other an- tenna or transmitter. The antenna for Bluetooth cannot be re- moved (or replaced) by user. This equipment complies with FCC/IC radia- tion exposure limits set forth for an uncon- trolled environment and meets the FCC radio frequency (RF) Exposure Guidelines in Sup- plement C to OET65 and RSS-102 of the IC radio frequency (RF) Exposure rules. This equipment has very low levels of RF en- ergy that it deemed to comply without maxi- mum permissive exposure evaluation (MPE). But it is desirable that it should be installed and operated keeping the radiator at least 20 cm or more away from person’s body (ex- cluding extremities: hands, wrists, feet and ankles). Alteration or modifications carried out with- out appropriate authorization may invalidate the user’s right to operate the equipment. • • • • • NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: — Reorient or relocate the receiving anten- na. — Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. — Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. — Consult the dealer or an experienced ra- dio/TV technician for help. For Canadian model This device complies with RSS-310 of Industry Canada. Operation is subject to the condition that this device does not cause harmful interference. WARNING Handling the cord on this product or cords as- sociated with accessories sold with the prod- uct may expose you to chemicals listed on proposition 65 known to the State of Califor- nia and other governmental entities to cause cancer and birth defect or other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling. Precaution 01 Chapter 4 En The Safety of Your Ears is in Your Hands Get the most out of your equipment by play- ing it at a safe level—a level that lets the sound come through clearly without annoying blaring or distortion and, most importantly, without affecting your sensitive hearing. Sound can be deceiving. Over time, your hear- ing “comfort level” adapts to higher volumes of …

The “SPH-DA100“ has 1.64 mW of conducted Peak Output power and 0.97 mW of EIRP. T his equipment is considered as a mobile device so that SAR testing is excluded. T he Following calculation is the reference data for 20cm distance. RF Exposure Calculations: The following information provides the minimum separation distance for the highest gain antenna provided with the “SPH-DA100“ as calculated from FCC OET Bulletin 65 Appendix A, Table (B) Limits for General Population / U ncontrolled Exposure. This calculation is based on the highest EIRP possible from the system, considering maximum power and antenna gain, and considering a 1.0mW/cm^2 uncontrolled exposure limit. The Friis formula used was: S = (P * G) / (4* π * r 2 ) W here P = 1.64 mW (M aximum peak output power) G = 0.59 Numerical Antenna gain; equal -2.30 dBi r =20.0 cm For: SPH-DA100S = 0.00019mW/cm 2 N o. : 32E E0123-SH -01-A RF Ex posure / SAR Statement
