Install Batteries 1.Controller requires 1 “9-Volt” alkaline battery (not included). 2.Scooter requires 4 “AA” alkaline batteries (not included). Unscrew battery compartment door with Phillips head screwdriver (not included), and lift off. Insert batteries and replace door. Get Ready! Remove twist ties under scooter. Apply stickers to scooter wherever you like! ON / OFF SWITCH Attach Doll to Scooter If doll detaches from scooter, reattach as shown. Your Scooter Moves 2 Ways! ROTATE 360° Pull joystick backwards to rotate scooter counter-clockwise. 2. 1. FORWARD To set toy in motion, push joystick forward. FIRST, turn switch (under scooter) to "I" position (ON). ALWAYS switch to "O" position (OFF) when finished playing. OFF ON QUICK TIPS 1. When the scooter does not respond, slows down, or loses range, change the batteries. Your vehicle’s running time may change depending on your driving style. 2. Radio interference can make your vehicle run badly. Interference can be caused by other R/C vehicles running on the same frequency; electrical wires; large buildings; or CB radios. Try to stay away from these! 3. Operating multiple vehicles with the same frequency in close proximity will cause interference and poor performance. Zip ’n Zoom Shannen™ Doll is available in 2 different frequencies. Each sold separately and subject to availability. Use 2 different frequencies (27 MHz and 49 MHz) for racing 2 scooters. 4. Point your transmitter up – not down toward your vehicle. If your vehicle gets too far away, it won’t work properly. 5. Don’t drive your vehicle in sand, over bumpy/rough surfaces, or through water or snow. If your vehicle does get wet, wipe with a towel and allow to dry completely. 6. Always turn switches OFF and remove all batteries for storage. 7. If transmitter is accidentally dropped in the water, remove batteries and allow transmitter to air dry. Replace with fresh batteries before operation. Model # 55647 Mini Shannen Skateboard TRANSMITTER OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION. The RF transmitter is intended for use with RC toys. Transistor Q1, in association with crystal Y1 and passive components L1, R5 R6, C4 and C5, operates as 49.86 MHz oscillator of carrier RF signal. Q1 and passive components R8, C7, C8, C9 and L2 form RF amplifier-amplitude modulator. IC1 encodes control signals. The encoder generates pulse signals from its output (p.8) when switch SW connects p.5 (FW) or p.4 (BW) to the negative terminal of battery. These signals are applied through R7 to the input of RF modulator (base of Q2) and modulate RF carrier signal by amplitude. When SW is released (middle position), the transmitter circuit is disconnected from battery and inoperative. R1 sets IC1 system clock. C1, C2, D1, R3 provide stable power voltage for IC1. Passive components C10, C11, C12 and L3 match the impedances of amplifier and permanently attached straight wire antenna. Tunable inductor T1 is intended for adjustment of transmitter output power after assembling.
