HOW TO INSTALL TRANSMITTER ANTENNA Place the transmitter antenna into the antenna holder to screw it in clockwise. Don’t install the antenna extended. It’s dangerous. If the antenna is not screwed in se- curely, the vehicle may move errati- cally. Screw the antenna securely. To remove the battery lid, press the point marked "OPEN"and pull the lid downward. Transmitter Battery lid HOW TO INSTALL THE BATTERIES Make sure vehicle’s on-off switch is turned OFF when installing bat- tery. Remove all the batteries from the vehicle and the transmitter after playing. Vehicle To open push and slide. Lift the battery lid. Join the connectors of the Ni-Cd pack and the vehicle. When you connect the connectors, make certain the vehicle switch is in the "OFF" position. Replace the battery lid. Ni-Cd battery pack (9.6 V) Battery lid PREPARATION FOR STARTING OPERATION 1. HOW TO ATTACH ANTENNA TUBE Antenna tube Antenna wire Antenna tube holder Pass the antenna wire through the antenna tube, then insert the tube into the antenna tube holder. If the antenna tube cannot be suc- cessfully inserted into the antenna tube holder, try holding the root of the antenna wire with fingers of one hand and extending the wire with fingers of the other hand. * Note: Be careful not to pull an- tenna wire too strong. English 4 HOW TO PLAY LEFT/STRAIGHT/RIGHT FORWARD NEUTRAL BACKWARD 1. Turn ON the vehicle. 2.Operate the vehicle with transmitter. 3.Turn OFF the vehicle after operating. 4.Remove all the batteries both from the vehicle and the transmitter. Check to see that the battery is INSTALLED in the CORRECT position. * Please follow the above sequence of operation. *AUTO POWER OFF TRANSMITTER (PAT.P.) (To prevent unnecessary power loss) The transmitter power is automatically turned ON when the user operates the transmitter (and the red LED lamp lights up to indicate that the power has been turned ON). About 15 seconds after the user stops operating the transmitter, the power is automatically turned OFF (and the red LED lamp goes out). When the transmitter power is turned OFF (about 15 seconds after the user stops operating), the vehicle can be jammed by other transceiver radio waves and start to move abnor- mally.
