The flashing continues for approximately 3 minutes or until the headset is connected to a compatible phone. Charging the battery Before using HTC BH M500, we advise that you charge the product for approximately 2 hours. When the battery is fully charged, it provides up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 200 hours of standby time. 1. Connect the charger cable to HTC BH M500 2. Plug the AC adapter into a wall outlet. When HTC BH M500 is charging, Red light is on. 3. When the battery is fully charged, the Red light is off and Green light is on. 3. Pairing the Bluetooth headset with a compatible phone Pairing is the process of linking the headset with your Bluetooth enabled mobile phone. After this process is completed, you can use the HTC BH M500 only with this paired mobile phone. If you want to use HTC BH M500 with another mobile phone, you must repeat the pairing process again. The HTC BH M500 can be paired with up to 8 compatible phones but connected to only one phone at a time. 1. Make sure that the compatible phone is turned on and within 10 meters of the headset. 2. Turn on HTC BH M500 and make sure the headset is charged. Press and hold MFB for about 4 seconds. The Green LED will flash rapidly. Release the button and the headset is now in pairing mode. 3. Activate the Bluetooth connection from the phone. You may need to consult with user guide of your phone regarding how to do that. 4. Set the phone to start searching for Bluetooth devices as instructed in user guide of your phone. 5. Select the device name HTC BH M500 from the list displayed on the phone. 6. Enter the pin code 0000 to connect (or “pair”) HTC BH M500 to the phone. 7. Start using the headset. 4. RF EXPOSURE TEST 11.1 APPLIED PROCEDURES / LIMIT These devices are not exempted from compliance does not exceed the Commission¶s RF exposure guidelines.Unless a device operates at substantially low power levels,with a low gain antenna(s),supporting information is generally needed to establish the various potential operating configurations and exposure conditions of a transmitter and its antenna(s) in order to determine compliance with the RF exposure guidelines.
