Insert a AAA battery into the battery compartment of your Audio Adapter as shown in Figure 1. 2. Similarly, insert a AAA battery into the battery compartment of your Audio Transmitter. 3. On your Audio Adapter, press and hold the ON/OFF/Mode button until both LEDs light up. When pairing your Audio Adapter to your Audio Transmitter or mobile phone, make sure that the devices are within 1 meter (3.3 feet) of each other. If the Audio Transmitter is not paired to your Audio Adapter within two minutes, the Audio Transmitter automatically turns off. When the Stereo Source LED on your Audio Adapter, and the Power/Bluetooth LED on your Audio Transmitter blink, the devices are paired and connected. 2 Add Bluetooth connectivity to your digital audio player Connect your Audio Transmitter's 3.5 mm minijack to the headphone jack of your digital audio player as shown in Figure 2. โ€ข When your Audio Adapter is in use, only one source LED is lit at any time, even if both devices are paired and connected with your Audio Adapter. โ€ข When battery levels are low on your Audio Adapter or Audio Transmitter, the respective LEDs blink twice at regular intervals. You can listen to stereo music from your Bluetooth-enabled PDA or computer by pairing either device to your Audio Adapterโ€™s Stereo Source, without using your Audio Transmitter, as long as your PDA or computer supports Bluetooth Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP). Refer to your PDA or computerโ€™s documentation for more information. Set your mobile phone to automatically detect Bluetooth-enabled devices. Refer to your mobile phoneโ€™s documentation for more information. 3. On your mobile phone, select CB2500 Creative from the list of Bluetooth-enabled devices that appears. 4. When you are prompted for a passkey, press 0000 on your mobile phone and select OK. When the Handsfree Source LED blinks, the devices are paired and connected. 4 Connect the earphones Connect the supplied earphones to the earphone connector of your Audio Adapter and put on the earphones as shown in Figure 3. Your mobile phone must support Bluetooth Handsfree Profile (HFP) or Headset Profile (HSP) to pair with your Audio Adapterโ€™s Handsfree Source. Make an outgoing call Dial the number using your mobile phone. When your call is connected, talk using your Audio Adapterโ€™s microphone. Answer/End a callPress and release the ON/OFF/Mode button. Reject a callPress and hold the ON/OFF/Mode button when you receive an incoming call. Switch sources or devices Press and release the ON/OFF/Mode button. The required LED lights up. Turn on your Audio Adapter Press and hold the ON/OFF/Mode button until both LEDs light up simultaneously. The Handsfree Source LED turns off immediately and only the Stereo Source LED remains lit. Turn off your Audio Adapter Press and hold the ON/OFF/Mode button until both LEDs light up simultaneously. Both LEDs turn off.
