Regarding the manual, please see the following comment/question from the Applicant. As far as the manual goes, this same manual is used for the whole 3300 series of products. We include the text for Part 68 in the manual to cover those products which include an adsl interface. In your opinion, can we continue to ship the same manual with both adsl and ethernet-only product types? Please comment. 2) No RF safety evaluation for MPE of this mobile device can be located. Please indicate where it can be found, or provide the exhibit. TECHNICAL 1) The device meets the technical criteria for certification. COMMENT 1) The User Manual contains Part 68 compliance information, but there does not appear to be a public network interface. The client may wish to delete this information. If there is a public network interface, Part 68/ACTA approval would be required, and the label would need to show a corresponding ACTA Product ID. It is desktop or wall-mounted device used with AC power adapter in mobile application, at least 20 cm from any body part of the user or near by persons. The maximum conducted power is 20.0 dBm, antenna is fix-mounted, 3.75 dBi gain (maximum). Therefore, to comply with RF Exposure Requirement, the MPE is calculated. The maximum Peak EIRP calculated is 0.24 W. The Power Density can be calculated using the formula S = EIRP/ 4πD 2 Where: S is Power Density in W/m 2 D is the distance from the antenna. In the table below, the calculated Power Density at different distances and MPE Limit for general population/uncontrolled exposure are presented.
