A 8030 - 0005 User’s Manual FCC Compliance To comply with the applicable sections of FCC Rules and Regulations, Parts 68 and 15, please follow these instructions: ßDo not connect your modem to a party line or to a coin-operated telephone. ßIf your modem should cause a problem on the telephone line, it should be disconnected from the line until it can be determined whether the modem or another device on the phone line caused the problem. ßOnly the manufacturer can make repairs to the modem. Other repair methods will void your warranty. ßIf you have an external modem, use a properly constructed shielded cable to connect it to your computer. ßIf your telephone company asks for the following information, please make it available: -Modem manufacturer -Model of modem i FCC Part 15 Operation is subject to the following two conditions: 1. This device may not cause harmful interference. 2. This device must accept any interference received including interference that may cause undesired operation. This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
