Operational Description

FCC ID: HFS145015318 ADT No.910207R01 Operational Description This product is a notebook personal computer with a LAN card inside. The transmitter of the EUT (Notebook PC) is powered by host notebook and connected with notebook through USB interface. The antenna is dipole antenna, and use internal UFL connector. Under normal use condition, the user has to keep at least 20cm separation distance away from the radiator. The other instruction, please take a look at the users manual. DSSS Information This device is Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum, the data is mixed by pseudorandom code which is an orthogonal code. The mixed data is digital modulated by BPSK and QPSK technique depends on the data rates. The CCK coding is applied to increase the data rate, and also the processing gain will be increased.

Set both RBW and VBW of spectrum analyzer to 100 kHz with suitable frequency span including 100 kHz bandwidth from band edge. The band edges was measured and recorded. FCC ID: HFS145015318 Report No.: RF910207R01 43 Issued: March 11, 2002 4.6.4 EUT OPERATING CONDITION Same as Item 4.3.5 4.6.5 TEST RESULTS The spectrum plots are attached on the following 2 pages. D2 line indicates the highest level, D1 line indicates the 20dB offset below D2. It shows compliance with the requirement in part 15.247(C). NOTE: The band edge emission plot on the following 2 pages shows 48.02dB delta between carrier maximum power and local maximum emission in restrict band (2.4902GHz). The emission of carrier strength list in the test result of channel 11 at the item 4.2.6 (Page 26) is 90.8dBuV/m, so the maximum field strength in restrict band is 90.8-48.02=42.78 dBuV/m which is under 54 dBuV/m limit.
