Helen Zhao Subject: FW: RE: FW: ZEBEX INDUSTRIES INC., FCC ID: JNF-Z-2050, Assessment NO.: AN06T6300, Notice#2 11/15/2006 From: amanda.wu Sent: Tuesday, November 14, 2006 7:07 PM To: Helen Zhao Subject: Re:FW: ZEBEX INDUSTRIES INC., FCC ID: JNF-Z-2050, Assessment NO.: AN06T6300, Notice#2 Dear Helen: Please see my reply, thank you. Best Regards, Amanda From: Helen Zhao Sent: Mon 11/13/2006 11:43 PM To: Helen Zhao Subject: ZEBEX INDUSTRIES INC., FCC ID: JNF-Z-2050, Assessment NO.: AN06T6300, Notice#2 Question #1: The test report lists three model names: Z-2050WL (with both WLAN CF card and Bluetooth module) Z-2050BT (without WLAN CF card and with Bluetooth module) Z-2050BA (without WLAN CF card and without Bluetooth module) The certification tried to cover these three models, unfortunately, Z-2050BA can not be covered because it is not equipped with any wireless radios, it is just a digital device. Z-2050WL will need to show two FCC ID s on the external label: one is "FCC ID: JNF-Z-2050", one is "Contains TX FCC ID: NI3-IS20V35". Please update the test report accordingly. Ans: We deleted the model: Z-2050BA from the test report. Question # 2 : The user manual indicates that device can be connected to PC through a docking cradle, or directly without cradle. The test report shows power line conducted emission was evaluated when the device was connected to PC through a docking cradle. Please provide additional test data when the device is connected to PC directly. Ans: This mode (connected to PC directly without cradle) had been pre-tested, and found that it's not the worst case. The test report had been modilfied on page 7. Question # 3 : The proposed FCC ID label format is good for Z-2050BT only. Since the device is big enough, please include FCC15.19(a)(3) statement into the label. Please provide FCC ID label format for Z-2050WL as well. Ans: Please see attachment. Best Regards, Helen Zhao The items indicated above must be submitted before processing can continue on the above referenced application. Failure to provide the requested information within 30 days of the original e-mail date may result in application dismissal and forfeiture of the filing fee. Also, please note that partial responses increase processing time and should not be submitted. Any questions about the content of this correspondence should be directed to the e-mail address listed below the name of the sender.

Embedded and LTCC (Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic) technology is able to future integrate with system design as well as beautifying the housing of final product. High Stability in Temperature / Humidity Change Free Impedance Matching APPLICATIONS Bluetooth Wireless LAN HormRF ISM band 2.4GHz wireless applications DESCRIPTION Walsin Technology Corporation develops a new ceramic embedded antenna specified for 2.4 GHz ISM Band application, as shown in below “CONSTRUCTION”. Both of Wireless LAN IEEE 802.11b and Bluetooth TM typically located on this unlicensed frequency band which range covers from 2.4GHz to 2.4835GHz. To fulfil the friendly usage for antenna, this antenna has been designed to a typical 400MHz bandwidth through Walsin’s advanced LTCC (Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic) technology and superior product design via 3D EM Simulation Skill. This antenna has a rectangular ceramic body with a tiny dimension of 7.6 x 3.5 x 1.1 mm 3 meet the future SMT automation and miniaturization requirements on modern portable devices.
