Getting Started Congratulations on your purchase of the Itronix GoBook II computer! Your new GoBook II features the most innovative advances in portable computing technology. It combines state-of-the-art ergonomics with a rugged, durable architecture to provide you with a notebook computer that is compact, powerful, rugged and easy to use. Designed for a wide range of business and personal productivity applications, the GoBook II is an ideal choice for use in applications that require durability and performance. For maximum expandability without compromising portability, the GoBook II has a USB interface and a PC card slot. The high capacity hard disk drive provides you with plenty of storage space for multimedia files and applications. The GoBook II features a standard 87-key Nitevue® keyboard (89-key international). The high- resolution 12.1-inch touch screen LCD panel provides clear and crisp viewing with the convenience of a touch screen. This online document, GoBook II Help , contains all the information you need to set up and use your new GoBook II. It describes all the features of the GoBook II in an easy-to-read yet thorough manner. For information on printing, navigating or otherwise using GoBook II Help see How to Use This Help System. Built-in Microphone and Stereo Speakers The stereo speakers and internal microphone enable you to run a variety of multimedia applications. Please note that further comments may arise in response to answers provided to the questions below. 1. Please note that the the EIRP of the Aircard 750 is reported as being different in the tow reports provided. (see test reports “Exhibit 6 Pt24E KBCIX260A750MPIBT Test Report CELLTECH LABS.pdf” and “Exhibit 6 Pt24E MaxRad EMC Test Report KBCIX260A750MPIBT.pdf”) Please clearly identify what the EIRP of this device is. Please provide consistent information on the testing results and please provide only that data which is pertinent to this application. 2. FYI - Please note that EIRP power of a WLAN device is determined by the formula (Ed)^2/30G and is not the simple addition of conducted power + the gain of the antenna. Please note that as the conducted power has been provided, this is the power that will be on the grant. This is just and FYI for future calculation of EIRP of part 15 WLAN devices. 3. Please note that on page 4 of the report (Exhibit 6 Supplemental Test Report 2 Pt 15 WLAN KBCIX260-PROAC555.pdf) you state that the radiated field strength of the fundamental is 95.16dBuV/m at 3 meters. Please note that with the stated antenna gain of 4.5dBi this would be an EIRP or -4.6dBm. Please note that with the stated antenna gain of 4.5dBi it would be expected that a field strength of approximately 121dBuV/m at 3 meters would be measured. Please note that with the 95.1dBuV/m measured field strength and the stated conducted power, the gain of the antenna appears to be -20dB. While it may be expected that the difference between the field strength and EIRP values may vary by as much as 8dB, this is a difference of about 24dB. Please also note that the file name indicates that the proAC555 WLAN was tested and not the A750WLAN. Please explain.
