Completion of the NODE product certification file for IC Canada and FCC was delayed at Sercel , due to various events : - First one is the Covid crisis which disrupted the project, - 2 nd concerns changes in the internal organization dealing with this type of subject . There have been career changes for employees, including on the Sercel US site (Houston) which follows radio certification, - The third is due to market developments. At the start of the project, the target market was mainly European. US market was identified as a second step . And this second stage arrived in 2022 with the merger of Sercel with the US company GeoComp (www.geocomp.com). GeoComp (Acton, MA) works in the field of structure monitoring. However, since the tests carried out by Emitech, the design of the NODE product has not undergone any modification ; in particular on its radio functions.
