Ljiljana Trivic [email protected] Phone +49 2261 971 415 Request for long term confidentiality of the Internal photos for our short range radar sensor Dear Sirs, This letter references §§ 0.457 (d) and §§ 0.459 of FCC Rules as the authority for requesting confidentiality. APTIV would like to obtain long term confidentiality for the NON-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) document itself and the internal photos for the product with FCC ID: L2CFC3TR This request of confidentiality is submitted because internal photos contain RF integrated circuit board layout patterns, antenna designs and antenna distribution networks, which are trade secrets and shall not be accessible to users of the public. The devices cannot be opened without special tools. In addition the device is not being sold separately from the vehicle. The installation of the device can only be done through licensed distributors under NDA. In those cases APTIV has signed NDA documents with customers and/or suppliers. For that reasons internal photos submitted to FCC shall never be available for public or disclosed to unauthorized persons. Only APTIV employees have access to these internal photos and devices or customers/suppliers under NDA. All sales in regards to these devices have to be under NDA, restricting the disclosure of the propriety information including the internal photos. The NDA between APTIV and our business partners includes secret business agreements which we would like to stress again. Internal photos have to be treated in the category of permanent confidentiality under a NDA. The NDA document itself shall also be kept permanent confidential. Yours Sincerely, Brian W.
