Is able to operate in the frequency range 380.0 – 512.0MHz. 2. Meets the requirements of FCC Rules, Parts 90.203(e). The operator cannot program and transmit on frequencies other than those programmed by the manufacturer or service personnel. Normally accessible external controls cannot be used to program frequencies; they are only used to select preprogrammed frequencies. 3. Should not be programmed in the frequency band 406.0MHz – 406.1MHz. The following statement is included in the Users Manual: “Do not use the VRX1000 in the frequency band 406.0 – 406.1MHz. This frequency band is reserved for distress beacons.” The VRX1000 UHF is used in the following Part 90 Mobile and Land Mobile frequency bands: • 406.1 - 410.0MHz • 410.0 - 420.0MHz • 420 - 450MHz • 450.0 - 454.0MHz • 456.0 - 460.0MHz • 460.0 - 462.5375MHz • 462.7375 - 467.5375MHz • 467.7375 - 470.0MHz • 470.0 - 512MHz In addition, the VRX1000 UHF is used by Federal and Public Safety agencies and the Military operating in spectrum covered by NTIA under Federal Table G27 instead of Part 90.
