The potting is used for environmental protection to IP68 and security of the circuit design. This product is used in very high security applications to protect, for example, national infrastructure in many countries, where it is necessary such information is kept as confidential as possible. Removal of the potting material would damage or destroy the product. No other items submitted as part of the equipment authorization filing process are deemed confidential. The above exhibits contain Gallagher Group Ltd trade secrets and proprietary information that could be of benefit to our competitors regarding the design of our Readers. This FCC test report also covers the T15 Mifare Reader that comes in 2 variants, i.e. C300470- and C300471- which operate on 13.56 MHz only, as the dual mode was determined to be a worst case version based upon the test results in the FCC report. The 125 kHz data and the Bluetooth data should be ignored for the purposes of Mifare only certification. The T15 Mifare Reader uses identical PCB with T15 Multi Tech Reader with fewer components on T15 Mifare Reader and without the FCC and IC certified Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) module. Both have identical functional capabilities using 13.56 MHz transmitter and antenna characteristics. They also have identical plastic enclosures.
