EASY‐GO EG3000 USER MANUAL EG3000 MAIN FEATURES: 1. SYSTEM ARM / DISARM Press the transponder main button to Arm / Disarm the system: Arm: LED flashes once, parking light flashes once and the car horn honks once Disarm : LED flashes twice, parking light flashes twice. Press and hold the transponder side button for 0.6 seconds for trunk release. * If all doors are not closed upon Arming, car horn honks 5 times and the parking light flashes 7 times to warn the user. 2. DYNAMIC IMMOBILIZER The system checks with the transponder every time during Ignition ON. The vehicle CANNOT be started with just the key as the transponder must be present as well when attempting to start the vehicle. 3. SMART ANTI‐HIJACK When the Anti‐Hijack Mode is set to ON, if any doors are opened and closed anytime after Ignition ON, 2 minutes later, the system will page the transponder every 30 seconds for 10 times. If the transponder responds to any one of the paging, then Anti‐HiJack mode will be disabled. If the system does not receive a feedback from the transponder after 10 times, the car horn honks for 30 seconds then the system enters Anti‐HiJack mode. * The use of Starter Disable or Petroleum Pump Disable is recommended instead of Engine Block Disable 4. ADAPTIVE SYSTEM RE‐ARM The system will Re‐Arm the vehicle in the conditions below: 1) Upon Ignition OFF: If the doors remain closed, the system will NOT page the transponder. If the doors are opened and closed, the system will count down 6 seconds and page the transponder. If the transponder is not present, the system will Re‐Arm the vehicle. 2) Upon Disarm : Within 10 seconds, if the doors remain closed, the system will page the transponder. If the transponder is present, then the system will page again in 10 seconds. If the transponder is not present, the system will Re‐Arm the vehicle. 5. IGNITION‐CONTROLLED DOOR LOCKS The system automatically Locks the vehicle 5 seconds after Ignition ON and Unlocks the vehicle upon Ignition OFF. T EMPORARY EASY‐GO DISABLE The above Easy‐Go Features can be temporarily disabled/resumed anytime: To Disable: Press and Hold the main transponder button for 3 seconds to disable all Easy‐Go features temporarily. To Resume : Press the main transponder button again (short press) to resume all Easy‐Go features. SYSTEM LEARNING & CONFIGURATION: TRANSPONDER LEARNING: 1. Insert the key and turn to IGNITION. 2. Press and Hold Override Switch for 5 seconds, LED stays solid ON indicating Learning Mode. 3. Press the transponder button. 4. LED flashes ONCE indicating transponder learned, LED then stays on solid. 5. Repeat Step 3 until all transponders are learned by the system (Maximum of 4 transponders can be learned). 6. The system exits Learning Mode after 10 seconds, to exit at any time, turn the IGNITION to OFF. USER PROGRAMMABLE FUNCTIONS: 1. Insert the key and turn to IGNITION. 2. Press Override Switch 5 times, car lamp flashes 5 times, car horn honks 5 times, LED stays solid ON, indicating Factory Settings Mode. 3. Press Override Switch ONCE to enter Anti‐Hijack Mode Setting (Car Horn honk ONCE) then press the transponder button to TOGGLE the feature ON/OFF. The LED flashes ONCE to indicate ON and flashes TWICE to indicate OFF. 4. Refer to the Programming Table below for the number of Override Switch PRESS for each setting.
