Marianne Bosley To:Alice Wong Subject:RE: 3 New Application for apply FCC Certificate I have completed the administrative review of the 3 new Ngai Keung applications. The findings are below: 1. FCC ID: M8Q8121627 - a. operational/circuit description not included. b. Manual was not included (to include users info to be included in the manual - 15.21 statement and 15.105 statement if applicable. 2. FCC ID: M8Q8121649 - a. operational/circuit description not included. b. Manual was not included (to include users info to be included in the manual - 15.21 statement and 15.105 statement if applicable. 3. FCC ID: M8Q3250027 - a. operational/circuit description to included. b. Manual was not included (to include users info to be included in the manual - 15.21 and 15.105 if applcable). c. Test setup photos were not included. The technical review will happen next week when Greg and Chris are back. In the meantime, please get the administrative info to me. Also, please review any of the past technical issues with the other submissions to ensure that any of those problems are not present here. Thank you, and I'll be looking for this information. Have a great day. FCC ID: M8Q8121627 Circuit Description The 27.145MHz crystal oscillator drives the base of Q2 the final/buffer amplifier. The modulation provided by IC (NK8000C). The output of Q2 has the matching network consisting of L3 and C7 that limit the harmonic content and effect the proper coupling of the antenna to the output stage. Antenna, Ground and Power Source The antenna consists of a 45cm long metal antenna. There is no external ground connection. The ground is only that of the printed circuit board. Electric current is supplied by a 9Volt (“6F22” size battery x 1) primary storage cell.

Dear Chris, MET# 10737 FCC ID: M8Q8121627 Ngai Keung Metal & Plastic Manufactory Ltd. 1) Please see attached file "bandwidth" for spectral plots. 2) Duty cycle correction during 100 msec: Each function key sends a different series of characters, bat each packet period (17.25 msec) never exceeds a series of 4 long (1.25 msec) and 10 short (375usec) pulses. Transmit duty cycle would be considered (4 x 1.25 msec)+(10 x 375 usec) per 17.25 msec = 50.7%. Duty cycle correction = 20 log (0.507) = -5.9dB Figure A to C show the characteristics of the pulse for one of these functions. (See attached file "pulse") Thanks.
