Users Manual

1—Check the package contents O F F 2—Charge the battery 3—Turn on the power 4—Pair with headset or audio dongle Unpack the Bluetooth Headset and check that the following items are included: The battery lasts eight hours and is re- charged using the power adapter or the USB cable. To recharge: Plug the USB cable into the DC jack on the Bluetooth Headset and connect the other end to your PC. or Plug the power adapter into the DC jack on the Bluetooth Headset and connect the other end to an electrical outlet. The Bluetooth Headset can be used with a Bluetooth A/V Transmitter or Bluetooth Audio Dongle. On fi rst use, the devices must be paired. To pair the devices. 1. Connect your transmitter to an audio device. 2. Turn on the power on your Bluetooth Headset. 3. Turn on the power on the transmitter. Recharging takes 90 minutes. To pair with your phone 1. Enable Bluetooth on your phone (refer to the phone’s user manual). 2. Turn on the headset. 3. In the phone’s Bluetooth menu, search for devices. 4. Select Stereo Headset. 5. Enter the passcode “0000”. Answering calls To answer a call, push the power button. To end a call, push the power button for three seconds. If the Bluetooth Headset does not work, try the following: - Ensure connecting devices are charged - Turn off all devices and then turn them on in the order shown in this guide - Ensure devices are within the 10-meter range ? Introduction In this document, we try to prove the safety of radiation harmfulness to the human body for our product. The limit for Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) specified in FCC 1.1310 is followed. The Gain of the antenna used in this product is measured in a Fully Anechoic Chamber (FAC) calibrated for antenna measurement in ADT, and also the maximum total power input to the antenna is measured. Through the Friis transmission formula and the maximum gain of the antenna, we can calculate the distance, away from the product, where the limit of MPE is reached. Although the Friis transmission formula is a far field assumption, the calculated result of that is an over-prediction for near field power density. We will take that as the worst case to specify the safety range. 2. Friis Formula Friis transmission formula: Pd = (Pout*G) / (4*pi*r 2 ) where Pd = power density in mW/cm 2 Pout = output power to antenna in mW G = gain of antenna in linear scale Pi = 3.1416 R = distance between observation point and center of the radiator in cm If we know the maximum Gain of the antenna and the total power input to the antenna, through the calculation, we will know the MPE value at distance 20cm.
