The subject device is in compliance with Part 15, Subpart B of the FCC Rules. This device is an Ethernet PCMCIA Local Area Network Card (PC LAN Card) with 32 bit CardBus for insertion into Notebook Computer’s PC Card slot, Type II or Type III. This card contains fast ethernet controller type AM186ES-40KC with 40 MHz crystal oscillator that is ethernet 10-Base-T and 100Base-TX compatible with IEEE802.3 and 802.3u standards that support 10Mbps and 100Mbps baseband ethernet local area networks. Also, this device is provided with media coupler interface cable with RJ45 connector for connection and communications to remote local area network. This EUT was network system tested with representative transmission and reception speed set at both 10 and 100 Mbps.
