Liepa the Power of Attorney is on file and can be provided when so requested. Re: Certification for Schrader 15202272 Transmitter Model: 15202272 FCC ID: MRXGMX272AM IC: 2546A-GMX272AM REQUEST FOR CONFIDENTIALITY Pursuant to 47 CRF 0.459, Schrader requests that a part of the subject application be held confidential. This comprises Exhibits (5) Schematics (10) Parts List (Part of Exhibit only) Schrader has spent substantial effort in developing this product and it is one of the first of its kind in industry. Having the subject information easily available to "competition" would negate the advantage they have achieved by developing this product. Not protecting the details of the design will result in financial hardship. If there are any questions regarding this request, please contact me at the above address or call 734-483-4211, fax 734-647-2106 or e-mail [email protected]. Sincerely, Valdis V. Operational Description

Description of Operations FCC ID: MRXGMX272AM IC: 2546A-GMX272AM Consumer Use Modes Manufacturing & Service Modes Mode of Operation Explanation Frequency of Transmission X Roll Mode (Drive Mode) Transmitter in normal operation – wheel is rotating and shock sensor is closed 6 words every 60 seconds X Learn Mode Transmits after LF transponder activation or when sensor exits Off Mode due to pressure delta 16 words whenever LF activation occurs X Factory Mode Transmitter is in Factory Mode for the next 15 or fewer shock sensor closures after a learn activation. The wheel has to be rotating (shock sensor closed) 6 words every 30 seconds X X Stationary Mode Transmitter enters mode after Factory Mode or Drive Mode – wheel is not rotating – vehicle is stopped No transmission X Wake Mode Transmits when sensor transitions from Stationary Mode to Drive Mode due to shock sensor switch closure 6 words on mode change X X Off Mode Transmits when sensor transitions to Off Mode 6 words on mode change X Low Battery Mode Transmits as normal with low battery bit set 6 words when low battery occurs in Roll Mode X Re-measure Mode Transmits when a pressure delta is detected 6 words when pressure delta occurs X X Sleep Mode All of the time between other modes No transmission

Operational Description

Page 2 of 2 The GMX272 transmitter will be used on the GMX211, GMX231 and GMX272 vehicles. 1. Frequency The carrier centre frequency is 315MHz. The frequency tolerance is +/-75kHz. 2. Power The power of the transmitter is measured on a standard 3m site. The range for the maximum power of the transmitter is 55dBuV to 68dBuV. 3. Bit Width The nominal bit width is 119uS. The range of bit width is 107uS to 131uS. 4. Protocol The modulation is Amplitude Shift Keying (ASK). It is Manchester encoding with 50% duty cycle. The baud rate is 4200 bps with a tolerance of +/-10%. 5. Temperature There must be full transmitter operation between -40Β°C and +85Β°C. The temperature range must not cause frequency, power and bit width to exceed the limits. 6. Operation There are three states for the transmitter – off mode, factory mode and normal mode. The transmitter goes into factory mode from off mode with a LF activation or a pressure delta. The transmitter transmits every 30 seconds in factory mode when motion is detected. After 15 transmissions the transmitter goes into normal mode. Motion is detected using a shock sensor.
