You can use these programs individually or together. For example, e-mail address stored in Contacts can be used to address e-mail messages in Messaging. Using ActiveSync ® , you can synchronise information in Microsoft ® Outlook or Microsoft ® Exchange on your desktop computer with your device. You can also synchronise this information directly with a Microsoft ® Exchange server. Each time you synchronise, ActiveSync ® compares the changes you made on your device and desktop computer or server and updates both computers with the latest information.
