Bottom View Power button Reset button 5 Using your HG100 Setting up hardware 1. Connect the bundled power cable to the power adapter. 2. Plug the power adapter into a power source. 3. Connect the power cable into your ASUS HG100’s power input port. NOTE: The power adapter may vary per region or country. IMPORTANT! Power adapter information: • Input voltage: 100-240Vac • Input frequency: 60Hz • Rating output current: 3.42A (65W) • Rating output voltage: 19V 6 4. Press press and hold the power button for about six (6) seconds until your HG100 powers on. Downloading ASUS Smart Home APP 1. Connect your phone to the Internet, then log on or sign up for a Google account. 2. Open Play Store on your phone. 3. Search for ASUS Smart Home, then select INSTALL. You can also Scan the following QR code to download the ASUS Smart Home App onto your smartphone: 7 Using ASUS Smart Home APP 1. Run the ASUS Smart Home App. 2. Enter your ASUS ID, Password, and tap Sign in. If you do not have an account yet, tap Sign Up. IMPORTANT! Ensure you have Internet connection before choosing any of the following sign in options. 3. Choose the Home Box you would like to connect and follow the onscreen instructions. 8 Home Control The Home Control screen allows you to view your connected devices and home places. You can also turn the connected devices ON or OFF on the Home Control screen. Adding devices Add devices to your Home Control screen by tapping My Device, then tap the icon, and then follow the onscreen instructions. Adding Places Grouping devices by place makes it easier to manage and control. Group your connected devices by tapping My Place, then tap the icon, and then follow the onscreen instructions. 9 Home Action The Home Action screen allows you to view the actions you set to perform when a condition is triggered. You can also turn the actions ON or OFF on the Home Action screen. Adding actions You can add actions to perform when a condition is triggered. Add actions by tapping the icon on the Home Action screen, and then follow the onscreen instructions. 10 Peripheral products Connect various products to your ASUS HG100 to turn your home into a smart home and change your way of life. Smart life Smart life gives you complete control over your home appliances. Connect smart home appliances and transform your home into a convenient smart home. Green life Green life provides you with power saving solutions. Connect smart energy devices and keep track of the power consumption in your home. Security life Security life allows you to monitor your home at anytime. Connect smart security devices and receive notifications whenever an alarm has been triggered.
