The EUT is powered by two 1.2V rechargeable batteries. Once it is turned on, it receives the RF audio signal which is transmitted from the transmitter portion of the cordless headphone system. There are two knob on the EUT which is used to tune the operating frequency and volume control. The brief circuit description is attached in the following pages. - IC 1 and associated circuit act as RF amplifier, mixer and local oscillator. - IC 2, VR 2 and associated circuit act as regulator. - IC 3 and associated circuit act as audio amplifier.
