Also referenced on the form 731, as outlined in §0.459 fo the FCC rules, is AirNet Communications Corporation’s request to withhold the sections listed below from public inspection. Function of Active Devices Exhibit Transceiver Schematics Exhibit Photographs (any showing interior of modules) Exhibit AirSite Remote Radio installation manual Exhibit The reason AirNet requests that the photographs showing module interiors and the installation manual to be held confidential is to try to prevent competitors from gaining access to this data. AirNet’s customers are under a non- disclosure agreements with AirNet. This prevents them from distributing photographs of the equipment. Certain components, such as the amplifiers, have their warranty voided if the cover is removed by unauthorized personnel which also discourages the user from opening these modules and photographing them. As for the installation manual, only AirNet trained and qualified field-service personnel would typically have acess to this data, as AirNet is normally responsible for the installation of AirNet products. The non-diclosure agreement also discourages unauthorized distribution of this material by AirNet’s customers. This request has been previously granted for AirNet’s MZKBTS2000-1900, MZKRE2000-1900 and MZKRE3000- 1900. Attached is a copy of AirNet’s standard non-disclosure agreement. AirNet’s check for the amount of $1075 is included in this package to cover the fee for the Certification and the fee for confidentiality. If you have any questions, or need any additional information, feel free to contact either myself or David Dennis, EMC Team Leader. I can be reached by telephone (770) 925-2444 or by fax (770) 925-7294. Sincerely, David J.
