Avoid the electronic tag contact sharp and tough metal, the electronic tag have too many scratches on the surface will not be able to correctly identify the price marked. 4. To avoid the system hardware suffered a severe shock or strong vibration. 5. Do not attempt to remove system-related software, this will cause the system to work improperly. 6. System hardware Do not touch the high temperature or immersed in water. 7. Electronic price tags with a highly efficient lithium battery, Do not thrown the electronic price tag into the fire, Otherwise it will cause an explosion. warning 1. Purchased accessories of this equipment should be consistent with the factory product model. If you use other types of optional accessories, may cause instability and lead to injuries. 2/5 2. Whenever must be a qualified technician to setup and maintenance. 3. If you use a shelf (optional accessory), please set aside at least 10 centimeter distance at the top and the left、 right of the main equipment. 4. Electronic equipment is easy to receive electromagnetic wave, please avoid the installation of this product in its vicinity, doing so may interfere with radio equipment. 5. Especially the radio equipment should be placed far from the product. Without prompting, the equipment can radiate radio frequency signals to interfere with radio equipment, but the RF signal strength is less than the maximum safe limits; radio equipment should be placed outside of the instrument radiation range or consult an experienced radio engineer. Basic Function 3/5 1.1 Product Brief DB308 wireless base station is a new active RFID fixed base station for realizing bidirectional communication between tag and the host system. The station is century-cn company for electronic shelf label system (ESLs) protocol developed products. At the same time, the protocol can be extended to other active RFID industry application. 1.2 Instructions DB308 wireless base stations operate in the ISM band, and can read ESL label made by century-cn company. Its maximum reading distance is 30-50 meter ( open areas). Base station through a simple IP address settings, you can access the system from the network data server and through a wireless transmitter sent to the electronic tag, then receive electronic price tag state information from the wireless receiver module receives, by the network to the server. The base station actually played the role of data transfer, the entire process without human intervention. 4/5 1.3 Installation Types According to the specific application environment, DB308 wireless base station have two installation types: desktop and wall mounting. Base station installation position mainly depends on its installation type. According to the installation type, choose reasonable installation position. In general, base station installation location should be safe and convenient for operation. In addition, the antenna installation is mainly concerned with the minimum safety distance. 1.4 Caution Items AC power supply: 100V-240V/360mA. Please carefully check voltage range before you use! Checking base station and antenna installation position and direction, whether generate signal interference when the base station exchange information with electronic label. When this product work (radiation microwave power), the distance between commissioning personnel with the antenna should be at least 30 centimeter which can meet the requirements of FCC in the United States for human exposure to the maximum permissible radio frequency radiation terms! This instruction is used to guide the installation and commissioning. Any radio transmitting equipment, including this equipment, it is possible to interfere to medical equipment without the appropritate protection. If there are problems in this respect, please to consult with the medical equipment manufacturer. The work of the equipment may cause interference to other electronic devices! 5/5 1.5 Antenna specifications The antenna should be consistent with the following specifications: Frequency Range:2400-2483.5MHz VSWR:≤1.5 Gain:<7dBi input impedence: 50Ω Connector: SMA Male FCC STATEMENT: 1. This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference. (2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. 2. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment. NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
